This is such a wonderful south Austin gem that few cities are lucky to have. I’m so grateful I found this truly lovely, tranquil healing space with an equally lovely staff all around. I’ve been blessed to receive really healing treatment from both Sara and Wally who have been in wonderful with both the cupping and acupuncture treatments. This was my first time having cupping in the traditional way at there simply no comparison to the plastic cupping. I’ve also appreciated the herbal guidance around some complicated medical issues. And it’s truly noble to see a healing place offer sliding scale care. I’m on disability and also recovering from a recent car wreck that has profoundly upturned my life in frightening and overwhelming ways. It’s been a gift to come in here for accessible and high quality care without having to worry about the financial cost the whole time. This is a community gem that most places don’t have and I’m glad to see a place like this thrive and the community support for it as well.

Thanks to my friend Drew, I found South Austin Community Acupuncture what a real gem! You can feel healing energy before you even get in, within the birds songs that surrounds the space. The professionalism and humbleness of the healers such as Sara Calland who recommended to me healer Xeo Thuy Tien due to immune condition within my body , tells you all about integrity within the space.I don't know, if worlds can really express my gratefulness! Walked into the front desk area with my fiancé and we were both very impressed with the herbal selection against the wall and how nice the front desk and quiet the atmosphere was Sarah was very nice. Very educate wonderful bed manners. I was a little skeptical, not knowing what to expect but Sarah made me feel so comfortable and I can’t wait to continue to work with South Austin community acupuncture. They really save a lot of people’s life a gem in the rough. Everyone in the group room was so relaxed you can tell how much care they give back into their community. Will continue to spread the amazing word! Went in with throbbing (mouse hand)- NO NERVE PILL WORK NO Ibuprofen worked! After leaving Sara : no more stinging hand pain, I cried because I didn’t believe I would notice that BIG of a difference so quickly. So I will continue to use there services 🥹
I’m so grateful for Dr Sara, I got a frozen shoulder from a shoulder injury that occurred in June, I was told it could take from 6 to 2 yrs plus to heal, I was recommended surgery, I was told 7 sessions with a chiropractor would heal it, I was told many things and ways to heal my frozen shoulder. I work with kids and my arm is everything. Well, I was so blessed to find South Austin Acupuncture for my healing, I had 12 acupuncture sessions and 8 cupping sessions in a period of 5 weeks, plus I started applying Zheng Gu Shui, Bone settling water, a liquid remedy I could used as many times as I wanted a day (helped with circulation and many other things) and I started taking the Chinese medicine for the shoulder. (I also got massages, hot epson salt bath and I did exercises for my arm). My frozen shoulder is healed!!!!! I stared getting flexibility and movement after the first week and it only got better everyday!! Thank you so much for all you do for the community Dr Sarah ! Your payment flexibility was a peace of mind and I will forever be grateful!!!
