Two hours that flew by! This was a great walking tour that not only showed us some great art but also history and insights into the city, from the cultural communities to the green alleys. Chris our guide was fantastic!! Would definitely recommend to anyone, including those from Montreal!
Our Montreal food tour, with Marie as our guide, was fabulous! We enjoyed amazing papusas; the best cannoli we've ever eaten; and delicious, eco-friendly chocolate in a women-owned shop, among other delicious foods. Marie provided really interesting stories about the neighborhood as well as each of the merchants. She was a great guide and we can't recommend this tour enough! You will love it!
It was my first day in Montreal, and I couldn’t have spent it any better. Walking through the city was the perfect way to get a glimpse of Montreal and its rich history. Jeff was an excellent guide—very friendly and welcoming—and he shared many fascinating facts and stories about the region that I had never heard before. It made the experience even more memorable. Highly recommend!
Food and Bike Tours review We just finished our Beyond the Market tour and we can honestly say you will not be left hungry! Our guide Rod was very charming, personable and engaging with our group. He was very knowledgeable about the history, culture and local specialities on the tour. We sampled food from around 10 shops in and around the Jean Talon Market. The food we sampled was a reflectuon of the people and cultures of the area that ranged from Central American, Italian, Syrian, as well as many local Canadian producers. We sampled: pupusas, authentic Italian canoli, goat cheeses, smoked salmon, charcuterie, gelato, baba ganoush, and specialty coffee. We finished the tour at a Quebec Chocolat shop. If you love food and want to learn about the area in and around Little Italy, this is the tour for you! The day after our market tour, we joined a fantastic bike tour—roughly 16 km through a variety of neighborhoods and sights. Rather than any single stop, the real takeaway was Montreal’s character itself: its diversity, inclusion, multicultural fabric, and rich history. Our guide, Pax, embodied those qualities—knowledgeable, communicative, and genuinely pleasant—making the 4.5 hours fly by. At the start and finish, Danny (the owner/manager) personally fitted our bikes and checked in afterward, offering extra tips to help everyone make the most of their Montreal visit. Absolutely a must for a first visit in Montreal, highly recommend taking one of their tours, preferably both!
Chris was an outstanding guide on our Montreal Mural Tour! The pace was lively, the colors vibrant, and the information was presented in such a fun way! We thoroughly enjoyed learning about street art and the efforts made by the artists to share beauty and thought provoking topics! THANKS CHRIS we will certainly spread the word about YOU and Spade and Palacio Tours…FABULOUS!!
