Maria Luz did the alterations for my two dresses for my upcoming wedding. I have very high expectation since my mother is a seamstress and made my wedding dress (she was not able to do the final alterations because she lives out of the country). The dresses were absolutely perfect and she understood what I needed and wanted right away from the first appointment. She has a wonderful energy and will help you to feel so confident that everything will be perfect. I recommend her to everyone and anybody who needs alterations for a special event. Her work is impeccable and she is a true professional in her craft as well as her business.

Maria is such a gem. I had a last-minute wedding gown emergency, and Maria was able to take my lace bolero and have it reworked to fit perfectly overnight… and on thanksgiving! She made sure everything was perfectly ironed. It looks like it was made for me. Thank you Maria, my wedding will be that much better and saving me from a bride-zilla moment!

This place exceeded my expectations! I needed my wedding dress alterations done quickly and they did such an incredible job in only a few weeks. They completely transformed the top of my dress including adding straps, changing the shape of the neckline, and taking in the waist. They turned my pretty basic wedding dress into the princess gown of my dreams! Highly recommended!

Maria Luz is by far the best seamstress I’ve ever been to. I took my moms old wedding dress (from the waist down) to see if she could add a new corset/sleeves to be a little more modern. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she DELIVERED. She completely outdid herself. Gave me my dream wedding dress, while keeping the beauty of the used dress. So happy with her. She also hemmed my 2nd dress that was way too long, and I couldn’t even tell she did anything to it. Completely blown away by her services. Thank you Maria Luz!!
