DJ Laura was absolutely fabulous! The communication from the outset was excellent and I knew I was in very safe hands from our initial zoom call. She nailed the brief for my 30th party and even supplied extra speakers and lights to ensure my event had the best sound possible when the venue’s speakers were sub-optimal. The guests and I had an excellent time dancing the night away and I could not recommend DJ Laura more!

Let’s be honest: after the ceremony and the speeches, your wedding day has an all-important finale…the dancefloor! It’s always the highlight for Josh & I at every wedding we’ve been to, so we knew that we needed the perfect DJ to put the finishing touch on our own big day. And Emma (DJ Barroness) is absolutely that perfect DJ, without a doubt! SpinSisters were so great in the first stages of being matched up with Emma: after a friendly introductory chat, we filled out a questionnaire to find out more about our musical tastes. From there, a shortlist of SpinSisters DJs were suggested to us…and Emma immediately ticked all of our boxes! We listened to a couple of her own mixes and we knew she would be the perfect sound for our wedding. From there, we had a 1:1 chat with Emma who went through our likes (and dislikes!) in more detail and explained her processes which made everything crystal clear for us in the run-up to the day. If we weren’t already so sure of our choice, the meeting with her absolutely sealed the deal: as a queer couple, it meant a lot to have Emma be the sound of our wedding. She understood our style, accommodated our must plays and dutifully banished anything on our ‘Swerve’ playlist (seriously, nobody needs to hear ‘Come on Eileen’ at a wedding ever again!). She personalised her set to make it so perfectly ‘us’. On the night, Emma turned it out! We’re wedding dancefloor lovers and she made it so that we never wanted to leave it, right until the very last song. If you’re looking for a DJ who listens to you, understands how important your wedding soundtrack is and chooses every song with care then Emma is the DJ to book!

Laura from SpinSisters was fantastic organising the perfect DJ for our debut Disco Sisters event in London. As this was the launch event of our women-only club nights, it was super important that our female DJ really got the joyful, celebratory vibe we were going for, by playing only classic disco and dancefloor bangers. And DJ SallyK was perfect. She kept the vibes up all night with her tunes, her energy and her smile - and had the dancefloor rockin' from start to finish. Seriously you could feel the dancefloor shake! We had so many comments about how brilliant Sally was (even though I know there were some problems with the equipment in the venue but none of our guests would have guessed, as she was so experienced and professional she just cracked on). We can't wait to have Sally K back to DJ for us again in the future. Just amazing. What a night!

The BEST Wedding DJ – All Hail DJ Laura! We cannot recommend DJ Laura highly enough! She delivered the most incredible wedding set we could have ever imagined. From the very first track to the final song, the dance floor was absolutely packed — every single guest was up and dancing the entire night. Our guests took almost no photos from the party because everyone was too busy living in the moment and having the time of their lives! We received so many compliments after the wedding about how amazing our DJ was. Laura struck the perfect balance between taking our suggestions and reading the room — she kept the energy high, the mood just right, and the transitions seamless. Her taste in music is impeccable, and she knew exactly when to drop a deep cut or a crowd-pleasing banger. She was everything we hoped for in a DJ and more.
