via Google Had problems with my snowboard boots, and went in to get a second opinion. Fabio stayed with me for hours personally and went over several boots to understand fit and pain points, adjusting based on my feedback, and even worked with me on several iterations to further mod the boots with j-bars on both sides. Even introduced me to power straps to further boost my boots performance. I walked out with a much better fitted boot, and so many performance gains that I couldn’t thank Fabio enough for all the time he gave me. Stores need more people like him who have the expertise and the service to really go above and beyond to help customers. Really appreciate Fabio and Sports basement for all their help!

Kim Rethansvia Google I’m a first time skier and went into the Bryant store for boots, skis, bindings, poles, and ski clothing. The store was not busy. I went to the ski section and after about 10 minutes of me looking at skis an employee approached me and asked me if I needed help. I told him that I was a beginner and he hastily told me that I needed a 70-75 and quickly measured my feet. He brought out the only 2 pair of boots that suited these requirements. I tried them on but they didn’t fit… he told me that they were supposed to feel uncomfortable. I understood that my toes were supposed to touch the end of the boot but they were squished and very uncomfortable. He rolled his eyes at me and told me that he didn’t have any other sizes. I then browsed the ski’s and he told me that I needed a ski that went up to my nose in regards to length. I found one that was on sale that was pretty. Then he went into the back and came out with a box of bindings…. not even telling me how much they cost. I was frustrated so I took them and paid and left. The next day I went to the Presidio store to get boots and had a totally different experience! Reed spent 45 minutes with me just on boots! I went back the next day with my skis and bindings, returned them, and Reed spent 45 minutes with me discussing the different types of ski’s and options. I loved the Presidio store! I highly recommend that store over the Bryant store.

I’ll definitely keep coming back here. I got my helmet, ski bindings, wax, and other gear from here this week to get ready for the season because there was finally some snow. but one issue I had was some ski boots that I had, It was slightly too big.
I came in for a ski boot adjustment after realizing my boots were oversized and had way too much volume. That extra space (especially in the heel and toe) was causing real performance issues on the mountain. Fabio didn’t treat this like a simple sale or a quick fix. He took the time to actually understand the problem and work through real solutions.
He helped me add proper insoles, adjusted the fit carefully, added padding, and even created a makeshift foam modification that made a huge difference in heel hold and toe fit. The improvement was immediate and noticeable - night and day compared to how the boots felt before.
What really stood out was the mindset: it wasn’t about just selling gear (like some other places where they try to rush you), but about solving the problem for the customer and getting the setup right. That level of care is exactly why I keep coming back to this store.
If you care about performance, comfort, and working with people who genuinely care, ask for Fabio. Absolute top-tier service.

First, Jeff on the shoes department was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about shoes and their make up -- I am speaking about what shoes had carbon plates, which ones didnt, which shoes were recommended for plantar fasciitis and so on. Very deep knowledge. Second, the cashiers (Carter and a guy I cant remember his name now) were very helpful with their matching program. Long story short, instead of 1 pair I took 2 (one from a physician's list and another Jeff's recommendation). What a pleasant, informative, helpful, and straightforward experience that was -- truly, a breath of fresh air when comes to client experience.

Dan, the manager, was extremely professional and made sure our bikes were shipped and assembled in just one week (much faster than other stores in the city).
He also gave us excellent advice on locks and helmets, and we ended up buying them in the same store. His team even recommended the Sports Basement membership that gives a 10% discount!!
Great service, great team…highly recommended!
