We booked private dance class to prepare for our wedding dance. Our instructor, Rianna was exceptional in teaching us and giving us the confidence for our dance. We loved every class and had a great time with our first dance on our wedding day.
Standard Dance Studio is absolutely exceptional! From the moment you walk in, you feel welcomed and supported. The instructors, Matt and Rianna, are incredibly knowledgeable, patient and genuinely passionate about helping every student grow. The studio is a welcoming community, they organize fantastic dance parties and thanks to them, my partner and I found a new hobby we absolutely love doing together. If you’re thinking about taking dance lessons, this is the place to go. Highly recommend!
We booked lessons for our wedding first dance with Zultan and he was fantastic! We ended up purchasing more lessons than we needed to have a few date nights after our wedding. Highly recommend their lessons, my husband and I are not strong dancers and we learned so much during our time there. Staff are so friendly and welcoming too.
Coming from a ballroom dance school in Calgary, it was nice to have a smooth transition when I moved to Hamilton. Matt has been an excellent teacher and the dance community here has been so welcoming. I'm inspired to train hard with the syllabus for standard and Latin. Glad to hear that the studio is expanding and welcoming new teachers on board.
Come for the dance, stay for the community! Matt & Rianna have created such a beautiful space for dancers of all levels. Whether it’s hosting their monthly social parties, putting on the most beautiful ball or solo private lessons, they truly know how to make a dance experience like no other. Beautiful people who have put together a beautiful space that is welcoming to all! Currently drive 3hrs for lessons and it’s well worth the drive and a catalyst to my move to the area! So thankful to have become a part of the Standard Dance community! 🩷
