I sent my dog Matty to Jorge for a 6-week board and train in August, and the results have been incredible. Matty is so much better on walks, greets people without jumping, and has noticeably better impulse control overall. What really stood out about Jorge is how intuitive he is with both dogs and humans. He quickly picked up on Matty’s quirks and even noticed how my dog-mom anxiety was affecting Matty’s behavior, then tailored the training to fit our needs. He’s also really funny, easy to work with, and provided genuinely helpful resources and hands-on sessions so I felt confident continuing the training at home. I was so happy with the experience that I sent Matty back again over Christmas, and the added grooming this time was a great bonus. I’m really grateful for everything Jorge has done for Matty, and I wouldn’t hesitate to work with him again.
I contacted Jorge for some initial 1:1 training to help with leash reactivity since my husky/malamute/shepherd mix and I relocated to a more densely populated dog area. Jorge had so many tips and tricks and really improved Kona’s leash reactivity within an hour and a half of training. After that, I opted to work with Jorge for separation anxiety with Kona. I boarded Kona with Jorge for about 6-7 weeks and Jorge was great with providing updates, what they were working on, tips, and lots of videos! Kona’s been back home for about 7 or so weeks and he’s doing really well. I reached out to Jorge for a refresher on some tips and he was prompt and offered a house visit to see what could be improved upon. I really recommend Jorge, he’s smart, caring, and really knows dog’s behavior, body language, and how they think!
Jorge is a dog whisperer! We got Pinot, our field bred English cocker, at 12 weeks old and had no idea what to do with him. He is high energy and was struggling to settle but thanks to Jorge, we have been making so much progress with Pinot. We used Jorge for regular training sessions in the beginning as we were trying to crate and potty train, and then did a 4 week train and board program to help Pinot learn consistency in his routing and leash skills. Pinot came back from train and board SO much better on a leash and able to settle at home without concern. We will continue to use Jorge for our training needs. He is very attentive, truly loves and understands dogs, and is always around to answer our questions
We are first time dog owners and we went from 0 pups to 2 pups all at once! I’m not sure we would still be dog parents if it wasn’t for George! He is truly the dog whisperer! Or pups spent 2 weeks with him and during their stay he sent videos and tips to help us to be successful dog parents! After they returned no one believed they were puppies because they behave so well and are so calm and chill! No bathroom accidents and they truly follow instructions like we have been doing this for years! Cookie and Raven are such amazing additions to our family and I owe 90% of that to George! He is forever trusted with our pups!
Jorge is an amazing and caring trainer. Badger, our 2 year old dachshund, was having a few behavioral issues and needed more structure and control. Jorge was able to pick up on Badger’s nuances and patterns and then provide positive feedback and training techniques to help us calm Badger’s anxieties and emotions. We’re so grateful for Jorge’s help, and Badger has been receptive to training and continues to improve. It’s really great to see Badger’s growth now to where we first started. Thank you Jorge! Highly recommend signing up for some board and training with him.
