Friendly and knowledgeable, Great customer service, and a well stocked store. And now they are in a brand new location that's even more impressive. It's brighter, more open and even more well stocked. Everything from Used Books and Novels to comics to statues and toys. Hands down - My absolute favorite comic book store in Texas!

First time in this store and it's awesome. Huge collection of things to look at. Figures, toys,poster,books (kids and scifi adult), everything. I spent about 10 minutes in here and the staff was super welcoming. My favorite thing was the community work they do. Promoted local artist and selling some awesome pieces.

I stopped into Star Comics while passing through Lubbock, and I’m really glad I did. The owner was incredibly friendly and gave me some excellent recommendations. The shop has a great selection, a welcoming atmosphere, and I left with a stack of books I’m excited about. I wish I could come back more often. Highly recommended if you are in the area.

Clean store with a vast inventory of volumes and individual issues. Friendly and knowledgeable people running the place. I was looking for a certain comic which is unfortunately out of print but before telling me that, the guy working there checked their system as well as walked around the store looking. I appreciated the effort and still found some other things I've been wanting.
