Friendly and knowledgeable, Great customer service, and a well stocked store. And now they are in a brand new location that's even more impressive. It's brighter, more open and even more well stocked. Everything from Used Books and Novels to comics to statues and toys. Hands down - My absolute favorite comic book store in Texas!

First time in this store and it's awesome. Huge collection of things to look at. Figures, toys, poster, books (kids and scifi adult), everything. I spent about 10 minutes in here and the staff was super welcoming. My favorite thing was the community work they do. Promoted local artist and selling some awesome pieces.

Love going in there! The guys at the counter are always super helpful and friendly. I could be in there all day if I didn't have other things to do!

I stopped into Star Comics while passing through Lubbock, and I’m really glad I did. The owner was incredibly friendly and gave me some excellent recommendations. The shop has a great selection, a welcoming atmosphere, and I left with a stack of books I’m excited about. I wish I could come back more often. Highly recommended if you are in the area.

Clean store with a vast inventory of volumes and individual issues. Friendly and knowledgeable people running the place. I was looking for a certain comic which is unfortunately out of print but before telling me that, the guy working there checked their system as well as walked around the store looking. I appreciated the effort and still found some other things I've been wanting.
