I’ve been going to this place for almost 2 years and it’s very hit or miss however, after the last two failed appointments in a row, I’m now taking the time to leave a review. Two months ago I went in and my lashes were Overprocessed and unevenly curled from the left right eye. I came back two months later to go see somebody else at this same location and saw A woman named Ricky again who I’ve seen a few times previously. She has been rude and provided terrible customer service in the past but after today, it’s worth leaving a review so no one Else ends up having to deal with her the way I did. She wouldn’t let me talk and kept bossing me around the room and talking over me when I was trying to explain what I wanted with my lashes. She kept telling me to be quiet, put the lamp right in my eyes and said she was gonna take a picture and show me my lashes. this isn’t the first time I’ve dealt with her. I’ve just ignored her rude behavior in the past but today she was relentless. She told me it was too soon to do my lashes when I typically get them done every 6 to 8 weeks. I also was trying to tell her that I immediately washed and oiled my lashes after the appointment. I had two months ago, which did not go well at Stark as well. Everyone tells you that if you wash or put oil in your lashes right after an appointment, the lash lift comes out. Which is exactly what I did two months ago. So Ricky now telling me today that it’s too soon was not only absurd, but she continued to talk over me like I was a three-year-old child. Her demeanor, sound of voice and bizarre behavior is honestly so annoying to deal with. She has done both my brows and my lashes and never really provided a great service. When she did my brows, she refused to trim them for me claiming that that’s not what they’re supposed to do. Anyway, this place is a collective of different people who come and go And she’s one who is apparently been there for a while. Go at your own risk. It’s a waste of time. Also they don’t use keratin which is much better for your lashes anyway. Best of luck y’all.
Carissa at stark is amazing, I found the cost comparable to other places in LA + her overall demeanor + vibes were so wonderful, I had to work through out our appointment + she was more than accommodating. I have already had multiple compliments on my eyebrows + only had them done yesterday. My eyelash lift was also incredibly quick + comfortable.
