We hired Steel City Sound -Matt for our corporate Christmas Party. Matt was friendly and approachable. Before the Party got started matt was sure to connect with me on details of the event. After dinner Matt played music that immediately got people on the dance floor and never left. People danced all night with no lulls. Matt catered to the crowd which is very diverse for my company, 80's dance, 2000's, some Latin and Bollywood beats as well as taking requests. Upon arriving back at the office Monday morning people were raving about the night we had.
We hired Matt to DJ our wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception and he did a 10/10 job! He made the pre-wedding planning process a breeze and had a lot of great knowledge and experience to add. The dancing portion of our reception was perfect and he catered the song choices to what we had discuss - every song he picked kept everyone up on the dance floor. I would book Matt again for any future event in a heart beat!
Wonderful experience with Steel City Sound! We had our wedding this past July and it was by far the easiest part of our experience. Detailed spreadsheet made sure we were all on the same page. What can we say about Matt from Steel City Sound other than he was nothing short of amazing! He was our DJ and MC at our wedding, and we cannot be more thankful! He did an exceptional job of getting our guests up and dancing the entire night! His music choices were on point, and everyone was on the dance floor right up until the very last song ended! We had so many guests comment on how incredible our DJ was! We will without a doubt always recommend Matt and his team for weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, whatever you need a DJ for! My husband and I connected with Matthew to DJ our wedding in July. He was immediately helpful and offered ideas for specific moments. He held a follow-up meeting a week before the event to iron out any details. Matthew was also at the venue super early to get everything set up for the day and night. Throughout the evening, he was approachable and never made it seem like an inconvenience when our guests made requests. Matthew's energy was also palpable! He clearly seemed to be enjoying what he was doing and was jamming alongside us! The set-up was very high tech and included microphones and fancy speakers. He worked with our MCs and helped with the flow. Absolutely incredible!
