Cannot recommend Brock and his team enough. I spent a few weeks looking for the right company to give a professional, honest assessment of two large pecan trees at one of my rental property backyards. Safety was my top concern due to tenants and their pets, especially with several branches hanging over the property at significant height and already causing damage to a detached shed. From the start, Brock was knowledgeable, straightforward, and transparent in his recommendations — clearly explaining what should be kept versus removed. There were also nearby power line drops, which he and his team handled confidently and safely, something that really stood out to me. They were flexible with scheduling, showed up early, stayed true to their word, worked until the job was done, and honored a very fair price for the work completed. I’ll absolutely be using Brock and his team for all of my rental property tree needs moving forward. I’m a big DIY guy but these trees were not something for me to handle 🤣🤣

I can't recommend these guys enough! I see why they were so highly recommended in neighborhood forums in the Schertz/Cibolo area. They were extremely professional and friendly from initial call to cleaning up after the job was done. Brock came out for quote walkthrough and was very knowledgeable and made the decision to pick Steel Root an easy one. Their prices were fair and their work and timeliness was great. I love that they took the time to address my concerns and kept me in the loop throughout the process, always prioritizing the health of the trees like I asked. I will definitely be referring my family and friends to them for their tree trimming needs.

Brock and his team have come out to take care of trees now at two separate properties for us. Both times he has come out and given us a fair and honest and thorough quote that addressed what we needed. Brock is very knowledgeable not only about how to prune trees in a healthy way but also about what might need to be done in order to adhere to city requirements and things like that. He is quick to get the work done and he and his team clean up all brush and branches. He did our trees when we were out of town and besides the fact that the branches were trimmed beautifully it was like he was never there! All of this for a very affordable price. Couldn’t recommend enough!

We recently moved in home had a construction project happening soon in back yard Brock came out took the time to get right what we wanted, was knowledgable and educated us on tree care. We needed a quick turn around and Brock made it happen was priced at a reasonable price for the great work he did. Above and beyond. We will for sure be a repeat customer.

My wife and I were very pleased with the work Brock and his crew did for us. They were knowledgeable of which trees & branches were and weren't viable, explained exactly what needed to be done, and carried out the job with skill. The trees look fantastic, we don't fear dead branches falling on our heads, and he went above and beyond with the cleanup. I highly recommend him for anyone looking for expert who delivers excellent service.
