We’ve just had our intro lesson - was thoroughly impressed by both Alison and Tank. Alison instructed the lesson and Tank was very welcoming. They’re building a community around the studio and it’s really nice to see. The dance instructions were great and nice and easy to follow. Look forward to coming back!

I found this dance studio online and went for a trial session this Friday. The venue itself is easy enough to get to via Uber or public transport (a walk to St James Park UG). The people who work there couldn't have been nicer, very welcoming and knowledgeable! I met my dance instructor and we had a short intro discussion about what I'd like to learn / achieve before getting on the dance floor. The space is brilliant and the team are incredibly friendly and hospitable - I have signed up for lessons and would definitely recommend to anyone who wishes to learn. Hot tip for newbies, wear flat shoes.

Googled Step By Me while planning my trip to London and wanted to try out the workshop. I emailed to check out and was happy with the prompt reply. Finally, today is the day that I got to experience the Cha Cha technique workshop. I was greeted by the very friendly reception staff ,unfortunately didn't get his name. Coach Zoltan is very clear with his teaching and the routine has some advanced figures which is nice to dance. Is a good workshop that I gained to fine tune the technical aspect of how to dance with clarity. I really enjoy the 45 mins lesson .

They are absolutely amazing! The teachers are fantastic. Peter worked with us, and we couldn’t be happier. In just a few lessons, we learned our entire wedding dance routine. Of course, a huge thanks to Naz and Tank as well; they truly made us feel like part of the family.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely Incredible Experience! My fiancé and I came to this dance school with zero dance experience and a lot of wedding jitters. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed like family. Tank made us feel instantly at ease — his energy is infectious, and his sense of humor made every practice something we genuinely looked forward to. Also, bonus on the amazing coffees and cookies when we were there!! Peter, our instructor, is nothing short of a genius. He took two left feet (times two!) and somehow transformed us into confident dancers who could actually pull off our dream wedding routine. His patience, precision, and ability to break down even the trickiest moves made the whole process stress-free and, honestly, so much fun. What we loved most was how much they cared about us and adapted everything to our needs. They tailored every step to our personalities and made sure our dance truly felt like “us.” By the end, we weren’t just ready — we were excited to get on that floor and wow our guests. If you’re thinking about learning to dance — for your wedding or just for the joy of it — Tank, Peter, Nass and Georgia and this entire school are absolute magic. They don’t just teach you to dance… they give you memories, confidence, and a reason to smile every single time you hear your song. We’re forever grateful ❤️ and we will be back for another round of amazing dance!
