I don’t write reviews often, only when they are earned. Stepwise was a huge surprise find for me in our area. I seek out black coffee versus espresso drinks or coffee drinks. I did not know that Stepwise roasted their own beans and that those beans are top shelf hand selected interesting varieties to explore. Dalton the owner and roaster is a wealth of knowledge, generous with his time and an overall enjoyable and super kind human. The coffee we have enjoyed here has been incredibly rich, flavorful and helpful in learning more about the flavors of different regions, varietals and washing process. Stepwise is serving you a personal passion in a cup and doing it at unbelievable honest and more than fair pricing. The shop is small, clean and has a positive vibe. We don’t go out for coffee often but when we do, I always want it to be Stepwise now. The shop has limited hours and only on the weekends, so get your priorities in order and get yourself over there.
