Excuse any grammatical errors. I wanted this to be personal and not from AI. I was really excited to leave an exceptional review for Stilwell. The reason being, my hot water heater died, I needed a new one right away and they were the only of the 10 places I called that came right away. Furthermore Daniel the estimater/electrician was amazing. Friendly, helpful, and a winning personality. Adam and Josh were also very nice and helpful, as they completed the work. Unfortunately, I have to leave a bad review, because although the electrical side was prompt and eager to work with me, the plumbing side was not. I called multiple times to get matching plumbing work done with the electrical for the water heater. I was told that once the electrician came out the plumbing would be planned. Hours went by, and it was not. Before and after the electrician left I had to call to try and set up the plumbing. Then, I received a text not a phone call with a price and not much details on the work. Later they texted that they couldn’t make it the next day when the electrician would be there, but they would come the following day. Clearly, prompt is why I wanted to work with them in the first place so I got a family member to do my plumbing last minute. I asked the electrician to hook up the unit after they completed the electrical, but they explained they couldn’t until the plumbing was finished, but they explained how I could do it and that they would come back if I had any issues. Again very helpful. I did have issues with power to the unit which I understood could happen for many reasons. I called the next morning for help without any attitude from my part even thought this was day 5 for me without hot water. The manager, instead of apologizing and sending someone out to help, he proceeded to yell at me. First, telling me his plumbing team was trying do my work right away, and basically I was lying about them not, because he heard I didn’t have the water heater at my house, and that was the reason why they didn’t do it right away. I told him and will share here the text messages showing how uninterested the plumber was, as well as email confirmation that I had the water heater ready for local pick up. He told me I would have to pay for a return visit because this is a new service call, but when he finally let me get some words in I explained how the wires were not receiving power. He basically told me my family plumber fried my water heater when he placed the wires the way the electrician explained how to do so. Thankfully, he did send Daniel who was again great. He explained after his test one of the breakers was faulty which was just an unfortunate thing and nothing to do with my family members work. He promptly replaced it, being very empathetic to the situation which although accidental originated from the electric work. Now I have hot water. I expected a lot with the 4.9 avg review, and an owner who responds to reviews, indicating a care for how this company is perceived. I don’t need an apology for how I was blamed and treated when trying to get them to fix a problem originating from their work. I have already forgiven the situation, but it has impacted me. Hearing my family’s work demeaned after they traveled hours to help with a situation I couldn’t get anyone else’s help with was not fun. To add insult to injury after dealing with that much longer than expected morning conversation, my kids and I rushed to school and my daughter slipped and fell on ice. What happens now will tell me a lot about this company, and owner, and if I or anyone should work with them going forward. They have great employees, but do they have a great leader? Is their company great?

I had a great experience with Stilwell Electric. Henry and team were very polite, professional, and respectful of my home from start to finish. They completed the work efficiently and took the time to answer all of my questions. Henry also explained everything clearly, which made me feel informed and confident in my decision.
