Stobo Castle is pure magic. From the moment you arrive, you’re wrapped in calm, luxury, and breathtaking Scottish scenery. The castle itself is stunning—grand yet cosy—and every space feels thoughtfully designed to help you truly switch off. The spa is world-class. Incredible thermal experiences, beautiful pools, and treatments that are deeply relaxing and expertly delivered. Everything is impeccably clean and well organised. Food was another highlight—delicious, beautifully presented, and nourishing. Whether you’re there for a full spa break or a short escape, Stobo Castle delivers an unforgettable experience. A perfect blend of indulgence, tranquillity, and five-star service. I can’t wait to return.

We went for the evening, it is lovely, staff and facilities are great. Only issue is I was there with my husband, and , although we paid the same, he had less facilities to use. Ladies have 3 extra steam rooms and showers. This meant that we weren't able to be together and I felt I had to curtail my use of them somewhat. The facilities should be available to all or, Gents should be paying less.

Wonderful stay, fabulous facilities. One issue we had, our group of 6 were booked in for our treatments 5 at the same time and 1 almost 2 hours later. We explained this was not going to work for us as we didn't want 1 person to be left on their own. The Spa team sorted this for us.

Just spent yesterday and today at Stobo. My daughter and I had the Oriental suite and it was superb. We luxuriated in the room, enjoying getting ready for dinner. The dinner was delicious, hot, top quality and served by attentive, cheery, pleasant young staff. This morning after a lovely breakfast, we both had some facials. Diane, a lovely girl from Latvia was delightful and I was completely chilled by the end of it. We walked to the Japanese garden then back for lunch. Again, great food and service. We took full advantage of the beautiful pool and relaxation areas. I’m home now, sad it’s over. It’s expensive, but worth every penny. A very special place!
