Every time I visit a local book store I’m like, wow I love it here. I love books. I want all the things. You know the feeling? Well Story Line is no exception. There are several sections of thoughtfully curated books. When you first walk in you’re greeted with a section of St. Paul history, perfect for those visiting. Next there was an entire section for Halloween, a timely selection as I visited in October. There are weekly discussions or events for select books which you can find via the QR codes or on their website. Oh and a shop cat to keep you company. See, it’s a perfect place to spend some time and shop for yourself or gifts. Books, cards, postcards, magnets, and other souvenirs available in this cozy shop!

I'll be honest -- I'm not a big reader, but stepping into this quaint and charming bookstore inside the Union Depot made me want to pick up as many books as I could carry. I ended up with St. Paul: an Urban Biography by Bill Lindeke and The Small and Mighty by Sharon McMahon. I also received permission to photograph a sweet engagement session there with a couple of bibliophiles. I can't recommend this stop in St. Paul enough!

Really cool bookstore with a great vibe. The staff were super friendly and easy to talk to. They made great recommendations and just fun to chat with. My wife and I each grabbed a book and a few small things. We’re definitely coming back with our kids next time - awesome kids and young adult section too!
