I’m leaving this review specifically regarding a service performed by Lexi. I came in with medium-to-dark brown virgin hair and very clearly requested a conservative, cohesive color with soft, diffused dimension — an overall lightened look that reads as one uniform color. I stated I did not want golden drastic highlights. I provided a reference photo and had a detailed consultation beforehand. Unfortunately, the result does not reflect what was discussed. The finished work shows visible, high-contrast surface golden highlights rather than the soft, blended look I requested. I’ve attached the reference photo, and the result for clear comparison. Because the outcome missed the mark so significantly, I consulted with a reputable stylist in Los Angeles, where I live. I was informed that the work now requires a full color correction, quoted at $600, to undo and rebalance the highlight pattern. This is especially frustrating given that I started with virgin hair and specifically asked for a conservative approach. Lexi did offer to have me come back in to fix the color, but given the initial result, I no longer felt confident that a corrective outcome could be achieved and did not feel comfortable proceeding. I paid $200+ to Lexi for this service. When I followed up with documented concerns about the result, I received a generic “no refunds” message rather than a discussion of the outcome or how it differed from what was requested. This did not feel like a professional or appropriate way to resolve the situation, and I was disappointed by the lack of accountability. To be clear, I want to note that the salon owners were kind and professional when I spoke with them. This isn’t a matter of personal preference — it’s a clear mismatch between the requested service and the result delivered. I’m sharing this experience so others can make an informed decision about booking with Lexi for color. I’m giving two stars solely because the salon owners were beyond kind.

I wasnt going to leave a review because it wouldnt have fixed my problem but i figured itd be nice to warn other people. This was the first time i had even gone to a salon to get my hair done and i decided to splurge on myself a little, i ended up buying hair extentions over 1500 dollars. My stylist did an amazing job and made me feel so welcomed and pretty every time but when i finally decided to take them out she offered to hold them for me so she could store them properly and have them ready whenever i wanted them back in. After that I had reached out a couple times and was met with silence until i emailed the salon to ask for my hair extensions back and immediately she texted back saying she doesnt have them because she always sends them home with the client. Looking back i should have never trusted anyone to take care of my things for me, especially things of high value, but hopefully someone else can learn from my mistake. My stylist was Katie Babbs.

Lexi took the time to explain the process and technic to give me the best color and dimension I was searching for. She also gave me suggestions which I have found most hairstylists don’t do. She helped me think outside the box. I will definitely be back!

Studio 900 has an open, airy and striking environment. Meeting Miriam was a pleasure. She took on the challenge of my thinning hair and did a wonderful job with color and cut.

First visit with Studio 900 and first time with Shane. The atmosphere is relaxing and professional. I found Studio 900 after having a bad hair cut just a week ago at another well known salon. I discussed what I was wanting to achieve with this week's visit to the salon and he delivered! Shane is very knowledgable in his craft and gives a terrific scalp massage too! Needless to say this is my salon for now on...my hair feels fabulous!
