Attended a great workshop with JaFang Lu! I really enjoyed the facilities and the atmosphere. School store has essential supplies, and the Bok building itself is a cool community with coffee, bakery, & shops on the bottom floor. The studios are very clean and comfortable. The lighting system is really nice to use. 10/10!

Disappointing experience. Too many teacher egos with the most insulting behaviors towards students that l have ever experienced. They didn’t keep my personal information private and l left after 2 years and went on to get my masters degree somewhere else. A few bad teachers can ruin the lot. Hopefully they correct it.

Great school! I got accepted thru a highscool scholarship program and it greatly enhanced my technique and portfolio. Nelson Shanks is so impressive and his student who studied under him are great. Teach you side by side human anatomy and oil painting. I really want to go back as an adult and take more classes.

Instructors are excellent. Unfortunately, you may end up painting pure profile for 3 days due to crowding. Have painted pure profile for six days in the last two workshops I have taken. Not worth it.
