I’ve been to this salon three times, and unfortunately each experience has been disappointing. The first two times I got dipping powder. The almond shape came out bulky and uneven, and the square set broke within a week. Both times, the cuticle area wasn’t properly prepped, so the polish didn’t go close enough to the base and already looked grown out within days. Yesterday, I went to remove hard gel and get a regular manicure. One technician used the drill properly on one hand, but another clipped the nail on the other hand while the gel was still on. After the manicure, there was visible space near the cuticles again, making them look grown out immediately. The polish has already started chipping, and it has been less than 24 hours. There are also bumps and uneven areas in the finish. Because the color is black, it doesn’t show clearly in photos, but in person the surface is not smooth. I also waited about 30 minutes for my nails to dry, and no one checked the finish before sending me off. Someone briefly applied cuticle oil at the end, but my nails were not inspected to make sure everything was smooth and properly set. I paid $55 for this yesterday. Having polish lift within a day is unacceptable at that price point. On top of it my coat had been hanging on my chair the entire appointment, yet when I went to leave it was covered in nail dust and debris. It likely happened as staff were moving around with materials, but it showed a lack of care and attention to the surrounding space. After three visits with consistent issues, I won’t be returning.
