Sugaring NYC Brazilian Wax & Sugar Salon - San Antonio (Alamo Ranch)

I had such a wonderful experience. Leslie was my sugarista—she’s an amazing person. Very welcoming, easy to talk to, and incredibly kind. I’ve had sugaring done in the past, and it can sometimes be painful, but I didn’t feel any pain at all today. I will definitely be back next time I’m in town.

I had a very disappointing experience at this waxing studio. I came in for several services, including lower legs, underarms, and bikini waxing, but the conditions and level of professionalism were far below expectations. The treatment room was extremely cold. It was so uncomfortable that I had to put my wool top back on in the middle of the appointment just to keep warm. This is unacceptable for a service where clients are required to undress. I was also surprised to see that the wax was being heated in a microwave, which does not reflect the professional standards one would expect from a waxing salon. Another issue was the pricing structure. Even though I paid for lower legs waxing, I was informed that waxing of the feet and toes costs extra. This feels misleading, as those areas are naturally part of the lower legs and this was not clearly communicated beforehand. In general, the experience felt poorly organized and unprofessional. Unfortunately, it was a very unsatisfactory visit, and I would not return.

I had my first appointment with Dani and she was so nice — I felt way more comfortable with her compared to my first visit with another sugarista. When I got home, I noticed a few spots of hair left on my underarms and Brazilian, but she fixed the Brazilian right away. There wasn’t enough time for her to check my underarms, but I’m definitely keeping her as my sugarista! She really listens to her clients, makes you feel at ease, and even creates a fun conversation during the session (I know it’s to distract me, but it worked!). Overall, I loved how she made me feel and I’ll be coming back for sure.

Leslie is awesome! If you’ve never been before I highly recommend. She’s so sweet and professional.

I booked an appointment with their trainee today and had a great experience! Staff are friendly and will answer any questions you have. Since my sugar waxer was a trainee there was a mentor that came in a few times to check in on the process and I felt very taken care of. Lovely place! 💛
