My husband and I gave this place a try because they had great reviews (which we realize now were from years ago). The person we worked with, Micheal Macias, was the worst travel agent we have ever worked with. We took time off work to meet him at a scheduled time. When we arrived, a woman working there told us he "had just left to lunch". Why schedule an appointment if you wont be there when you scheduled? She told us we were welcomed to wait. We waited an hour and he never showed. When we got a hold of him later and he never apologized and just said "I had to take a lunch". We paid him a $150 deposit up-front and he has not responded to our request for a refund. I am so upset he took our money and this is the service we got. Please save your money and explore other options. If anyone from the business reads this, we want our money back, we never got any services from you. This is outrageous. 2/27/24 We received the refund from the business via check. Thank you for rectifying the situation.

I am both angry and deeply disappointed after my experience with this travel agency, and I feel it's my duty to warn others about their unprofessional and unacceptable conduct. After paying $150 in advance, I expected a level of service that was never delivered. Their operating hours forced me to take time off work, yet this inconvenience was compounded by the complete no-show of the agent, Michael Macias. I wasted an hour waiting, with no courtesy call or message to inform me of his absence. When I tried to reach out, my efforts were initially ignored. And when Michael finally did contact me, there was no hint of remorse. Instead, he offered a series of excuses, blatantly disregarding the inconvenience caused to me. His attitude was not just unapologetic, but it also had the audacity to make me feel as if I were the one in the wrong. I am also skeptical of their supposed high ratings. The lack of recent reviews on Google raises questions about their credibility. I feel taken advantage of and want to ensure that others do not fall into the same trap. This agency's disregard for basic customer service and professional ethics is alarming, and I urge potential customers to steer clear.

We're received excellent services from our Travel Agent Ruth Cordova. She went above and beyond to help me in surprising my wife with a Hawaiian vacation to celebrate our anniversary. I am so pleased with the services provided by Sun Travel and am looking forward to have them plan my future vacations.

Asked for an oceanfront hotel with a large tub to spend a romantic night with my husband. Got neither after I was guaranteed it was perfect for us. We got view of the parking lot and regular tub. Only one person fit in it. We were very disappointed for spending an extra $2,000 on something that wasnt close to what we wanted, but thanks to my husband and the beautiful people of Hawaii our trip wasn't ruined. Update: After six months and back and forth emails. We were pretty much blamed for accepting and signing the paperwork (something we thought we were getting). On top of that, the agency they book with BLUE SKIES did not recognize any of the hotel pictures Angelica (Sun Travel Agent) showed us and to which we agreed to. Ms. Coleman offered a $200 certificate on our next trip booked with them. It was insulting and hard to believe that after the horrible experience I would seek their services. One more thing---You know your services suck when the owner posses as a satisfied customer to improve the ratings. She even went as far as replying to herself. SMH Kathleen Coleman

For the past couple of years, my friend and I have dealt with this agency when it comes to doing our travels abroad. And when we do, there has been one person that we have relied on every time and that has been Ruth Cordova. Ever since day one, my friend and I would go every time beforehand with a clear definition of what we wanted in terms of flights, hotels, and tours (if we wanted to include any). We would convey our plans to her and she would always work around them, making sure we got exactly what we wanted (easily enough since we were always prepared beforehand with our plans). Since then, she has helped us book flights to Europe, South America, Asia, and within the USA. And throughout those processes, she has been patient, understanding of what we wanted, and amazing. And even when the pandemic got our flights to Asia cancelled, she was still patient, working with us to make sure that we were refunded for the flights and tours booked since one year in advance. If what you want is to make a travel dream come true, I would highly recommend Sun Travel and Ruth Cordova for your travel needs...and to make those dreams come true!
