Very cute store with some really cool, local stuff. The place smells absolutely divine as well, all the candles, soaps, lotions, etc. Definitely worth a stop. Support small businesses! Shop local! Great neighborhood gift shop in the Sellwood area.

One of my FAV local stores to buy gifts but most importantly to treat myself!! The owner Jen has her line of body butter, lip balm, and cuticle savior that is pure MAGIC. I am a big collector of body lotions and this body butter is THE BEST! My skin loves it so much I cannot be without it! I also recently found another local makers beef tallow that Im obsessed with right now. I highly recommend you do your holiday shopping at Sunnyside! So many different things to choose from and Jen makes sure every single one is special and made with love! A true gem in our community!

Sunnyside Mercantile PDX is a cute store with lots of great, local products. I stopped in just to browse, and I ended up chatting with Jen, the owner, for quite a while. She is so warm and personable, and she's created a lovely shop. I'm glad I stumbled upon this fun store, and I'll definitely be back!

I cannot say enough good things about this gem of a shop in Portland! Every visit is a magical experience filled with unique finds that make perfect gifts or treasures for yourself. Supporting local businesses is important to me, and this shop embodies everything that is wonderful about local products. From handmade jewelry to one-of-a-kind decor items, natural skin care, they truly have something for everyone. One of the things I appreciate most about this shop is their permanent jewelry collection. The quality and craftsmanship are wonderful. Thank you Jennifer!!

Jen opened this beautiful collective shop in October and she continues to add more and more unique and interesting items all the time. Her skincare products are eco-friendly, the ingredients are locally sourced, and they do wonders for your skin!! In addition to Jen skin care products, there are so many other products that make perfect gifts for a loved or yourself! She carries jewelry, candles, scarves, clothing, some shoes, artwork, etc. etc.! I really love the mirrors by Vikki DeGaa that are made out of wine bottle foils. What a beautifully creative way to re-purpose something that would normally be tossed in the trash. I have plenty of wine foils to give to Vikki! :) Jen said that she started at the farmers market and many of the products she carries in her shop are from the friends she made at the farmers market. Sunnyside Mercantile is female and Hispanic owned. Jen is a sweetheart. She is warm and welcoming, and very helpful with any info on any of the items in the store. I wish her great success!
