I had been riding through San Diego when I noticed a screw lodged in the center of the rear tire on my Ninja 400. I searched for the closest motorcycle repair shop and found Superbike Powersports. I gave them a call, and they told me I could come by to get it taken care of right away, which I appreciated. They were available on the spot and replaced my rear tire for a little over $300. Pricing can vary from shop to shop, and while this was on the higher side in my opinion, I prioritized getting back on the road quickly. A few days later, while visiting a different shop, I discovered damage around the rear axle—specifically, bent and broken chain adjuster blocks. The broken piece was making contact with the chain, and I didn’t want to ride around like that or risk causing further damage, so I had it fixed on the spot. I reached out to Superbike Powersports to let them know what I had found. They responded by saying that, in their experience, it’s possible for the chain adjuster nut to come loose over time—even if properly torqued and marked—and that this kind of issue can happen on various bikes without necessarily being anyone’s fault. They offered to help by providing a new chain adjuster and nut, and invited me to come by the shop to talk in person rather than continue the conversation over messages. They described it as an easy fix. Overall, I’d rate my experience a 3 out of 5. The immediate availability was helpful, but the follow-up and outcome left some room for improvement.
Respect is all we have as men and this shop owner gives it every time. When I was a squid with gear on my KTM 300 he took care of me and as I’m a current squid on a 2023 GSEXRYAN 600 he’s taking care of me. Being a broke actor is tough! Seeeya soon boss man!
I had a really great experience here and we’re only recommend it to anyone meeting with this service. My friend has been coming here for years and highly recommends it. The man who is helping me was phenomenal, he made sure not to charge me for something I didn’t need. He was very kind and so helpful. I ended up not needing to get work done but he still checked all parts of my scooter to ensure that I didn’t need any further services. I highly recommend this to anyone!
Now that I have found Superbike Powersports I will never take my bike anywhere else ever again! I was having a problem with my Fuel Injection light coming on and my bike shutting off intermittently for some strange reason for over a year, and after taking the bike to 2 other shops for the problem I was beginning to think my bike was just getting old and worn out. Drazen was very thorough and asked me quite a few questions about when I purchased the bike, my history of service and what parts I had added to bike after, and just from this conversation he was able to diagnose and fix a problem I didn't think was ever going to be fixed. I needed a part that wasn't available locally very quickly and he actually had a family member locate it in another state and ship it to the shop just to make sure I had what I needed quicker! He updated me over the phone as to the progress regularly and even sent pics of the old and new parts, and also what the bike looked like while it was taken apart. Parts of your bike you never get to see! It was very cool. I've had the bike back for 2 weeks now and it's like a brand new bike again. The level of service here is bar none the best I've received in 10 years of riding and 7 different shops visited across 4 states. I will be taking my bike here regularly for routine check ups and so should you.
