SO GOOD!! We ate until it hurt— so much to choose from! We had octopus salad, ceviche, hand roll, baked salmon roll, no rice roll, fantastic 4, shishito peppers! Service staff was attentive even on a Saturday night Tips: -order the fantastic 4 as an appetizer as it comes with 4 types of fish and 4 types of salad -riceless rolls are delicious and great value -shishito peppers are tasty but I hit a landmine spicy one so was wiped out! You’ve been warned -ceviche was tasty but was on spicy side so if you can’t handle spicy, let server know!
My first time at Sushi Mafia and I was pleasantly pleased and so happy that I went in!! Great food, great service!! Reviews about this place is accurate about how good their sushi is! Their staff, Daniel, Roy, and Tristan were great, very attentive and helpful. Daniel especially is very outgoing and nice. The menu is quite varied, lots of different rolls, entrees, sashimi, etc ... I had the American Gangster and that was delicious. It was slightly spicy but not bad at all! Also, Hello Kitty hand roll was delicious, loved it! I like that the was no rice and all fish! The Yellowtail Collar was good too, if you just want some cooked fish. Definitely go eat some sushi at Sushi Mafia!! You can't go wrong! I'll definitely go back!
The Sushi's are very well prepared and creatively served. They also have a good variety of Vegetarian Sushi for the non pescetarians. Their decoration and interior are all in the theme of their name. Very delicious and fun to eat there. The staff is friendly too.
Sushi Mafia has a fun, trendy vibe and an inventive menu that definitely stands out. The oyster and uni shooters were fresh and packed with flavor, definitely a highlight. I also really enjoyed the no-rice handroll with three different types of fish. It was light, clean, and beautifully presented. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and I’d be open to coming back, especially to try more of their unique offerings. @sushitraveler
First time visiting Sushi Mafia after seeing all the positive recommendations. We were not disappointed. We arrived on a Sunday night around 6:30PM and were promptly seated. Most of the tables had patrons and it was lively. The service was excellent. It was prompt, efficient, and courteous. Iced waters and miso soups were brought out while we were given menus to peruse. We ordered a couple items to share and was not disappointed. 4/5 Vegetable tempura was fried well and came out piping hot. Wish they swapped out the shishito peppers for sweet potato though. 4/5 The salmon & avocado roll had a little too much rice but it is overall solid. 3/5 The spicy salmon roll was mid and forgettable. The chili oil gave a kick but nothing too major. 5/5 The Gentleman Roll was super tasty and a highlight of the meal. Spicy tuna on the inside and topped with tuna, avocado, green onions, and a spicy ponzu. The roll had a slight kick but was overall really savory with a great mouth feel. 5/5 Another recommended item was the chicken katsu. It was thin and fried well. They used a panko batter to make it light and crispy. Even though the chicken was thin, it wasn't dry. Would definitely come back to order the specialty rolls and skip the basic rolls.
