I bought a one-year subscription for their online videos, but there have been no updates for months and no refund option. I can also see that other users are experiencing the same issue. In addition, their in-person classes are very crowded in the evening (sometimes 30–40 people). There is no air conditioning, and the afternoon sun shines directly into the studio, making it extremely hot. Teachers also have to adjust their position to avoid the sunlight when facing students. Some students were told by staff that there is no air conditioning to encourage natural body movement. However, dance is an aerobic activity, not hot yoga, and the lack of ventilation and cooling makes the environment uncomfortable and potentially unsafe.

Loved it here, and I want to do classes again soon. I treated myself for my 60th Birthday to a membership and it was the best thing I ever did!

Absolutely love Sydney Dance Company! The studios are always spotless, well-maintained and have such a professional yet welcoming vibe. The dance teachers are world-class, full of energy, knowledge and passion. I especially love the JFH classes; they’re fun, challenging and always leave me on a high. Such an inspiring place to dance!

Gorgeous space with lots of bright dance studios. Clean locker room and well organized staff. Photos of outside public spaces are limited out to respect to the students’ privacy within the classes but it’s easy to see its chic modern finishes. Dancers of all levels seemed welcome! Entrance has to be accessed by walking midway along the exterior—not thru the first entrance visible along the street.

Fantastic spaces for classes. A good looking cafe and bistro all houses in a refurbished warehouse on the shores of Sydney Harbour. I was lucky enough to see their latest production Somos set in the studio. Up close and personal with the dancers. It was a really wonderful experience.
