We have been taking our pups to Tails for over 5 years now! We absolutely love this place and so do our pups! The staff is always so friendly and so kind to our pups! We have three BIG dogs, 2 Saint Berdoodles and 1 bernadoodle! They can be a lot to handle all together but tails handles them effortlessly! Our dogs go to day care 1-2 times weekly and they get boarded when we go on vacation; we have NEVER had any problem, and our pups are always happy when we come for pickup. Whenever we say “we want to go play with our friends?” Our floofs go nuts with excitement, all because of Tails! We get report cards everyday they are in daycare with pics of their day, and they have an awesome camera system where we can check in on them playing at any time! Tails is also one of the very few places in Vegas with outdoor play areas which our dogs love summer or winter! Look no further for your dogs new favorite spot!
Tails Pet Resort discriminates against Pitbull Breeds! I went through the entire online setup process, submitted all of my dog’s medical information / immunizations and waited for a call to schedule an evaluation—but no one reached out. When I called to follow up, I was told they do not allow Pitbull's in daycare. It’s extremely unfair and misleading to have pet owners go through the whole process only to be told after the fact that their dog isn’t even eligible for evaluation. All dogs should be judged based on their individual behavior, not their breed. At the very least, this policy should be clearly stated on their website so owners can make informed decisions before wasting their time. My dog is loving, well-behaved, and social, but he was denied even the chance to be evaluated simply because of his breed. (He has been going to daycare 3 times a week for over a year, with no issues). It’s incredibly disappointing to see a place that claims to care about dogs make such a blanket decision without considering individual temperament. Pitbull's deserve the same opportunity as any other breed to prove themselves. I truly hope they reconsider this outdated and unfair policy.
This is the only Daycare that my puppy doesn’t hate going to! She loves it, and they send photos every day she attends so I can see how she’s doing. Highly recommend!

Initial Experience (Interview, Tour, & Check-In) I heard about Tails from a neighborhood Facebook group and decided to check it out. I went online to sign up and create an account. They were extremely responsive and quick to get back with me after my online inquiry. They set up a social interview for my pup right away. When we got there, the atmosphere was great and smelled good (kind of a weird comment but when you've been to pet places it smells like "pet"). They were very courteous and accomodating. I loved that they had treats and swag available for purchase. I had such a great calming feeling after taking the tour. The dorm spaces for the doggies are very nice! The play and common areas are nice, well lit, and not at all confining. Since my pup passed the initial social interview I'll be using Tails for daycare as well as boarding.
