So I went in for an oil change. I have been using Take 5 for a number of years. I went into this one with intention of getting the same service I am used to getting from Take 5. The service was great. They did their thing offered water, directed me into the bay, and did that teamwork shit where they call out what the did or did not do. All fine and dandy... Then they asked me to start my vehicle right after they poured in the oil, then ask me to rev it to 3000 rpm's. In my mind I thought maybe we should wait until the oil gets through the engine first before reving it up like that. But, I did as I was directed by the staff. The vehicle then shut off. They asked me to try again and were stating things like "that's weird" and "huh!". So they finished doing what they were doing proceeded to charge me 116.00 and put that sticker in the window and said I was done. I asked "but what about the fact it stopped when we rev'd it up?" They said "I dont know", then they said well you are done and could leave. I started it up... engine was hesitating then it went "slump" and never turned on again. They all stated that they have never seen anything like it, found little things to say and ways to make it my fault. They offered to push my vehicle out of the bay and once they did they never spoke another word or looked in my direction while I waited an hour for a tow truck to come get my behicle to tow home. I never even talked to the manager once. To this point my vehicle has never started again. I have called and no one has followed up with me. I was really done bad by these guys at the end of what had started out to be the kind of service I always got from Take 5. UPDATE: So they now send out this robotic answer asking me to call the manager... the same manager that would not even look my direction while they pushed my car out the bay and I waited for a couple of hours for a tow truck! WOW!!! No Help! On to the next level...
