Overall service was good but staff was non-professional and rude. They ask me to come upfront when a car infront of me was done, I moved my car to upfront and after that lady left haven’t informed me that when and who is going to check my car. A person in line next to me was working and instead of taking care of my car he started inspection of a car that arrived later than me. In the same line the person finished inspection and started to talk to a person in next car in that lane. At the end I have to press horn and then ask who is going to see my car then that guy in next lane ended his conversation with person in the car and said I will be back. So is it a way you Gus treat your customers. Very disappointing and non-professional behavior I see here and I wouldn’t recommend to anybody to visit here
As an assistant manager, Joe exhibits inappropriate behavior by abusing her authority. She has a hostile and has a rude attitude, which is unprofessional. She needs to undergo additional training in customer service. I encountered this issue when I reminded her that I arrived before certain customers and inquired about the wait time. In response, she became agitated and irritated. She further escalated the situation by including Q, who was in cahoots with Joe. Joe deliberately extended my wait time beyond what was reasonable. I believe this was a deliberate attempt to inconvenience me. When I asked her why a more experienced worker like Q couldnt work under my car, she responded that she was working under my car. I informed her that I did not want her under my car due to her unpleasant demeanor. Despite my objections, she continued to work under my car. Whenever I mentioned any inappropriate behavior under my car, I would return to confront Joe. She eventually removed herself from the area, went to a corner to smoke and talk on the phone. Meanwhile, I was left waiting for an hour and 20 minutes to be seen. I ultimately left and went to the next take5 on West Holcomb and got serviced. Approximately two days later, I call to speak with Joe, but when I brought up the issue, I felt it was better if I was to physically be at the location and attempted to speak with Daryl the store manager. I could discern from his demeanor that he was reluctant to address the situation. He appeared somewhat annoyed than anything, possibly because I a customer was complaining. However, he maintained a degree of professionalism. I believe Joe’s behavior stems from Daryl’s tolerance, or perhaps he engages in similar behavior himself. All in all, I just wanted to report Joe’s behavior towards me. I understand Joe is Daryl assistant and he would protect her to some extent but I really do suggest he corrects her customer service professionalism ASAP.
I honestly can’t say enough good things about the team at Take 5 Oil Change. They are some of the most brilliant, honest, and genuinely kind people I’ve ever met in Houston. Definitely not quick change! I know it’s not gonna be five minutes, I expect 20 to 30 – – but not an hour. When I arrived, there was a car in each bay. I was second in line. I waited about 20 minutes and after seeing that nothing seemed to be happening on the cars in front of me. I ask how much longer and was told it’s about 30 minutes. So I backed out and left because I had an appointment. I’ve used this brand before and it took about 20 minutes. A business should not advertise quick change if they can’t offer it. If the location is understaffed, then inform the customers when they arrive because like in my situation, I allowed myself about 30 minutes for an oil change so I can make an appointment. Would’ve been a mess if I was jammed in the middle of a line. As best I could tell two of the three cars in front of me had not even been checked in after some 20 minutes. The third car did finally pay and leave. There appeared to be three or four employees but only two were on the floor. And they seemed lost. They repeatedly scanned the cars and went back to the computers like something wasn’t working right or maybe they didn’t know what they were doing. Maybe someone was in the pit, but I don’t think so because there were certainly no oil being changed. Because when I left, they were just asking the customer what oil they wanted. I may try another location, but only because I have a coupon
I had an amazing experience at Take 5 Oil Change! The entire team was extremely professional, but I especially want to recognize Rodolfo for his outstanding service. He took the time to truly educate me on what my car needed and explained the why behind everything in a way that was easy to understand. I never once felt pressured or “sold” anything — it was clear his goal was to help me take better care of my vehicle, not just upsell me.
