Daria helped me from start to finish and is truly the best! She helped me tailor my mother’s wedding dress, hand beading the entire bodice, as well as turning it into a shorter bubble skirt. She also helped me hem, bustle, and take in my own wedding dress with all of the lace. She was so helpful, attentive, and truly the best! There is not enough words to express my gratitude!
As a whole, Tallgrass is efficient (1 week turnaround), has a lovely space, and has a great communication system setup. I’ve been a couple of times now and I highly, highly recommend Hannah! Most recently I went in to alter a couple of bridesmaids dresses and she considered every part of the dress. She made recommendations but never pushed and was clearly looking to make sure I felt comfortable. The end result was fantastic for both dresses! I will absolutely be returning and I will absolutely be hoping to book with Hannah! Thank you Tallgrass!!
I had no idea Tallgrass did custom suits. I brought a pair of pants in to be tailored that just so happened to be tailored by Shae, and when we got to talking about the fact that I was getting married she told me she did custom suits. As soon as she said that I was so excited, and I knew that was the direction I wanted to go. I saw a couple of her finished projects ahead of time for brides who prefer a suit and knew I was making the right choice. The suit, pants, and shirt that she made for my wedding day were the talk of the wedding. I’ve never felt more comfortable and confident in an outfit in my life. As someone who traditionally prefers a menswear look, I’m used to settling for ill-fitting clothes just so I can feel as “me” as possible. Shae made me such a high-quality custom product for a VERY reasonable price. I have been telling everyone I know about Tallgrass - I highly, highly recommend them.
I had a great experience with Tallgrass Tailor for my wedding in May! Daria did my alterations and listened to all of my concerns, and she even did a very last minute fix to my dress the week of the wedding. She was great and everyone else was so nice!
I had such a wonderful experience with Tallgrass Tailor. Daria was the one who worked on my dress, and she did an incredible job. She got the bustle just right and even made me custom sleeves—something I ended up not using, but still so appreciated her going the extra mile to create. What really stood out was how perfectly she hemmed the dress. I’m on the shorter side, and thanks to her precise work, I was able to walk comfortably without tripping over my dress all night. Everything fit beautifully, and I felt confident and at ease on my wedding day.
