The service here used to be fine, but it became very poor after the person who normally handled my accounts left in June. Since then I have had no replies to emails, everything has been slow, and I even received a non-filing notice for payroll from HMRC. Therefore, I decided to swith to somewhere else. When I told them I'm leaving, they claimed to have completed my company accounts without asking me for final documents or sending me a draft, then demanded £1800 for the service they didn't do and refused to pass my records to my new accountant if I don't pay. When I refused, they also blocked my QuickBooks access and stopped payroll service even though I had already paid for the month. On top of this, they previously filed my VAT return late, which gave my business a penalty point with HMRC, and they caused me to pay a fine for late filing of annual accounts (which they had promised to reimburse). Service has gone downhill badly, and I do not recommend this branch.

Wish I could give 6 stars. Bernard was super professional and extremely helpful. Tax is a minefield and his knowledge put my mind at rest. Will always use Bernard and his team going forward.

Great team at TaxAssist lead by Bernard - all helpful, responsive and deliver on time. Always on hand to offer advice and we couldn't operate effectively without them. Highly recommended.
