I ran in while waiting for an appointment nearby, but I can't wait to go back and spend way more time picking things out! I grabbed a Tote Project bag that has been sold out online forever, and some felted soap that will be perfect in a family vacation gift bag! This place is it

What got my attention today were these felted pot holders or they could be trivets. They look like they will last near forever and the colors are so good. In the same area of the store, I found a two sided tea towel that looks super absorbent and should wear will. Lots of interesting earrings. Handmade hats, scarves, and super soft gloves. Baskets. Pottery. I was fascinated by the quilling art on greeting cards. It was so detailed. Chocolates. Coffee. Lotions. These items come from villages from around the world. The prices are very reasonable on these handmade items.

Great place to find treasure for around the world. This is a “fair trade” store that works with artisans from around the word and sells their goods without huge mark-ups (if any). Great place for unique gifts with meaning from stationary to jewelry and gifts.

This store is amazing! I am a long time customer of Ten Thousand Villages. Everyone I know gets Fair Trade gifts from me. I was amazed at the selection at this store. Every time I go, I leave with more than what I came in for (Recently I needed two items... I left with a full bag. Loved the coffee!). I have always received excellent service. The associates are very knowledgeable. The last time I went was with my son's fiance. She liked that the associate recognized the necklace she was wearing was Tuareg (a cross necklace I gave her, but not from "Villages"). She liked so much of the jewelry that I know a Ten Thousand Villages gift card will be in her Christmas stocking (and we will make a trip to shop together). That day, she stocked up on the wonderful soaps. Be sure to get on the email list for this store... They offer some really great events - and special sales.
