Amazing quality fish, artfully made sushi, friendly and attentive service! This place is so underrated!!! Perfect for those who crave sushi that tastes more authentic and less fried and Americanized. Even the prices are super reasonable for such great quality.

David ( Jeremiah) was the best Teppanyaki chef I’ve had in a very long time if not the best. He was very personable, funny, find the menu I mean, and offered a new approach to Teppanyaki. he used to work at another local spot in the area and they must be fuming because he has to be one of the best assets to the team, not feeling guilty at all, giving him a tip in this economy he put on a show. Request him if you’re trying to have a great night in the 559.

I was so impressed by this spot — the aesthetic and branding are on point. Felt like a hidden gem here in Fresno. I tried the Tora Tostadas and the Omakase Box, and both were absolutely delicious — fresh, creative, and full of flavor. It’s great to have sushi of this quality right here in the Central Valley.
