I'm not sure why they have such a good rating. The agents are nice, and I know based off a job description that I read that the company puts high expectations on them, but the company itself is just ok. I'm still waiting to be wowed over here. I have tried switching over to them with my house insurance a couple of times now but they can't ever beat Allstate's prices. My auto insurance options are limited since I haven't had continuous coverage so that rules out bundling with them at all. I sent an email yesterday afternoon about my auto coverage and still haven't heard back. Starting to wonder if I will or not since I only included my name and not my policy number, and maybe that's too much work now idk?! Overall a less than average experience so far! I'll update if they can manage beat Allstate's prices after I can bundle I guess....but I'm not trying anymore than once more. Three years in a row is enough to not even switch over.

Had the pleasure to speak with Ms. Raina today, earthly Angel. Very professional, kind attentive and with patience. She listened, understood my issues and went above to assist me. She noticed changes that needed to be corrected, offered other options, contacted my mortgage lender & kept me informed of the process. Phenomenal service!

I have been with Texan Insurance since 2016, and the decline has been so obvious for the past couple of years. Terrible communication. They email only for payments, and whatever you write in this email is negligible, even if you ask for a change of address, nothing will happen. I don't recommend them at all.

We have had Texan Insurance for the past 9 years and during the recent years, rates have increased. This year it went up another 1200 or more. We had to replace Texan Insurance due to cost. I have called last year, and they could not shop and get a better rate. We have decided to go with another group that can get us a better rate. Cypress Insurance gave us a better rate and seems like their customer service is much better.
