If your ideal weekend plan involves sunshine, snacks, and wandering around saying “oh we should try that” every five minutes, Texas Farmers' Market at Mueller is the move. This is less a grocery errand and more a choose-your-own-adventure for friends and family, where you can sample local food, discover handmade goods you did not know you needed, and casually lose track of time in the best way possible. There is something for everyone, from kids zigzagging between booths to adults clutching cold brew and discussing which stand to circle back to, all set in an easygoing, community-heavy vibe that feels distinctly Austin. It is the kind of place where hanging out is the main activity, conversations last longer than planned, and leaving always takes at least two extra laps because someone spotted one more thing!

If you’re ever in Austin on a Sunday, do yourself a favor and check out the Texas Farmers’ Market at Mueller (2006 Philomena St). It’s hands down one of my favorite farmers markets in the city. The vibe is just right—laid-back, lively, and full of friendly faces.
There’s something for everyone: fresh local produce, artisanal goods, amazing food vendors, and even live music sometimes. It feels like a mini community gathering where you can support local businesses and discover something new every time.
I always leave feeling good—whether I’ve picked up some organic veggies or just chatted with a local vendor. Bonus: it’s very family-friendly and dog-friendly too.
Support local. Eat fresh. Feel good. 🌿🛍️🐾

My friends and I came here over the weekend and had a great time!
This market offers a wide variety of fresh flowers, fruits, honey, baked goods, and even treats for dogs.
There were so many fresh vegetables at reasonable prices.
They also have a nice area to hang out and walk around perfect for families and friends. I highly recommend checking it out!

This place had became too upscale and expensive. I rather like Farmers market like the ones where you can actually get plenty of farm goods at a reasonable prices instead of small niche goods at a high prices. Such as single plain bagels for $3 or basic baked goods as expensive as my gourmet bakery.
I think I only saw one stand with fresh produce 🤦🏻♂️
