Absolutely incredible experience from start to finish! This photography studio and makeup artist have a true gift for making women feel beautiful, confident, and seen. The makeup was flawless—enhancing natural features without ever feeling heavy—and the attention to detail was next level. The photographer created such a comfortable, empowering atmosphere that it was easy to relax and just be myself. The final photos honestly exceeded my expectations—I barely recognized myself in the best way possible. Phil and Kelly are by far the most talented photographers that Boise has to offer. Their creative and luxurious studio offers the widest variety of photography possible. They take absolute pride in their work and create nothing short of magnificent pieces of art. I have had the honor of being a model and working beside them for many years now and I’m always absolutely blown away by what they are able to create. There is no other Photography studio That I would even consider. Everything From business portraits To family photo shoots, to boudoir they are magnificent. If you’re looking for high-quality photography, this is absolutely the place to go.

I had the absolute pleasure of working with Phil at 8th Street Studio and the incredibly talented hair and makeup artist Mia — and I truly cannot recommend this creative team enough! From the very beginning, Phil made me feel seen, heard, and completely comfortable. He had a clear artistic vision but welcomed collaboration wholeheartedly. He asked thoughtful questions about my style, interests, and comfort level, then created a private Pinterest board for the three of us to share inspiration for the shoot — from vibe and composition to hair and makeup. It made the whole experience feel so personalized and exciting even before we stepped into the studio. On the day of the shoot, everything ran smoothly and felt so joyful. We started by reviewing our shared vision and then Mia worked her magic — creating the most stunning vintage-inspired look I’ve ever worn. During the shoot, Phil gave incredible guidance on posture, expression, and movement. I’ve never felt more beautiful, confident, or empowered in front of a camera. His passion for photography is contagious, and his attention to detail is unmatched. I was glowing just from the sneak peeks on his camera! This wasn’t just a photoshoot — it was an unforgettable, creative, and confidence-boosting experience. Phil and Mia are not only top-tier professionals, they’re also genuinely kind, passionate, and fun to work with. I would do this a hundred times over with them if I could!
