The Artsy Backyard is the perfect place for a wonderful party. We had my daughter’s 9th birthday there for 21 girls and they all loved it. Ronit and her staff make sure everything is taken care of and it is great to support a locally owned and independent business. Highly recommended.

What I like about the classes at The Artsy Backyard: There’s no pressure to achieve a specific outcome, rather, the instructors provide examples to guide students through the creative process. Applying the concepts in each medium and learning various techniques is fun and satisfying. I appreciate the freedom to play around with blending colors and the teachers’ encouragement to keep practicing new skills in a non-judgmental way, One particular instructor, Heather, and Ronit, the lovely studio owner, foster a relaxing space to create with levity and positive validation— especially when I’m hyper critical of the outcome. I’m not just painting, I’m cultivating self acceptance. Snacks and beverages are provided too! I look forward to returning for a fourth class soon.
