I can't say enough good things about The Ballroom House! My husband and I took a few lessons here to get ready for our wedding and we fell in love with dancing. Everyone is so kind and knowledgeable! We love doing group and private lessons. They have created such a fun and welcoming environment!

The people at the ballroom house treat you like family. My now wife and I started our lessons with the plan to do a dance for our wedding. Our instructor Emma has guided us through so many dancing types now all the while always taking what we would like into consideration. (Hustle, swing, rhumba, waltz, foxtrot, triple step, cha cha, etc.) I think it’s worth noting they don’t just teach you how to dance, if you plan to have a large event they choreograph for you, tie your music in, and truly try to help you however they can. For instance my “The Ballroom House” note book Emma gave me in my first week was crucial in my progression. We also took videos of our dance segments to rehearse and sooo much more. Not to mention the studio floor is huge and always stunning. This studio is amazing for couples, beginners, advanced learners, entire families or even just someone looking to learn a new skill while having fun. Even after our wedding my wife and I continue our dance lessons as one more way to keep date night alive. For a marriage, young couple or whatever your situation I can’t recommend this place enough to you.

Ballroom house overall is my favorite place to dance in Lexington. Their vibes are super chill and the dance floor is huge. And my favorite part of BH is the Argentine tango class. The instructors always find time to give everyone personal attention and they really make it a fun and light hearted experience. It is more like a family feeling honestly. I encourage everyone to try it out — it will improve all of your dancing.

I absolutely love the staff at Ballroom House! They are highly skilled, non-threatening, friendly teachers! I have been taking tap dance and acting classes for around 6 months and have improved tremendously in both areas because of the expert instruction. The facility is beautiful and they host so many fun events. I can't recommend this place enough!!

I absolutely adore this place! Debora and Prageeth (the owners) have truly created a wonderful atmosphere where everybody feels welcomed and like they are part of a family. The instructors are all incredibly well trained and put a lot of time and energy into their craft and in making sure everybody has a great time! From private lessons where you get to have one on one interaction with your instructor, to group classes where you can meet people and all learn together, and social parties where we all dance the night away, there is something for everybody here. Make sure to keep an eye out for some of the amazing shows that go on throughout the year!
