Went here off recommendations from my moms friend and it sucked. Overpriced & disorganized. They took the time to put tags on all the jackets for $300 but couldn’t be bothered to even try to sort by size. “Vintage”goods for people with too much money to waste. $30+ for a “vintage” trucker hat. Lame and awful. Don’t believe the hype that Georgetown is a “cool” neighborhood
I’ve often wondered where all the good vintage clothing shops went until now. The best one is in Georgetown, Seattle! Get on down to this place. Clean, well laid out, authentic goods that span ages. And that boot wall! There is something wonderful for every budget and style. Helpful, charming staff too!
Great selection of curated vintage here! If you’re looking for a fun stand out piece I highly recommend. Andrew was incredibly nice and helpful. He had a lot of knowledge of stand out vintage pieces like garment elements, fabrics, and stitching. I love learning about fun vintage details and they seem really passionate about it here :)
Diabolically overpriced for vintage, especially compared to other local shops. Employee at the front desk monitored me then right before we left accused me of shoplifting, when in fact they misplaced the item themselves. Blaming customers for their own disorganization, yikes! A lot of items smell funny, I don't think they wash things before selling; also yikes! ——— Updating to reply to the owner that this was Sept 28, 2025 over a pair of leather gloves. I was accused of shoplifting: one employee did not communicate with another that they moved the item – of course they’re not going to tell their boss they messed up! Very disappointing that owners are not listening to customers (who have paid in the past). Wild that owners are deflecting blame to customers (I batch review, and zero others today (or ever) were for stores). Downgrading to 1 star
What an incredible vintage thrift! The barn owl is such a special little place! I came in looking for some vintage stuff around the lines of Wes Anderson, and the person who worked there was so helpful and also shared a love for Wes Anderson! I have been looking for a vintage place like this for ages and specifically want some vintage western wear (boots, shirts, hats) and I don’t need to look any further! I LOVED The vintage western early 80’s shirt I bought and seriously, whenever I wear it in public I get so many compliments! Love this place so much and have already told so many friends (and even the strangers who have complimented my shirt)to come here! The ppl who work there really care about the quality of vintage wear they sell. They’re brilliant and deserve your business!🙏🏼🖤
