I used BCWW for the last year and a half and they were great. I have two dogs — one of which can be leash reactive towards other dogs and small children. Given this, I have a really hard time trusting anyone to walk him but BCWW assured me that they were up for the job and I am so grateful that we were connected with Katie. She is an excellent and attentive walker, and I actually think she has a calming effect on my dogs. She's incredibly gentle and loving with them, and on both their birthdays she sent me videos of her singing happy birthday to them while they sat happily on their favorite bench. While BCWW is more expensive than finding a college student off of Facebook, they are totally worth it if you value consistency, safety, and communication. We also worked with BCWW to prep my dog for the arrival of my first baby, and we found those training sessions to be incredibly helpful. Overall, absolutely recommend BCWW.

The Big City Walkers (and overnight pet sitters -- we've used both!) have been exceptional. Just lovely people who love dogs and take great care of them. I was truly saddened that we needed to bid farewell to our walker -- we only did so as we moved out of the zone. Thank you for taking such good care of Coco!

We’ve used this company for two years now and absolutely love them. We’ve worked with our walker, Liz, for some time and I am not sure who loves her more, us, or our dog. Liz provides detailed notes on each walk and pictures as well. Highly recommend Nancy (manager) and Liz if you’re in the chicago area and need a reliable walker!

BCWW was recommended to us by our groomer. We are so relieved to have found a team that provides such excellent care for our little guy. I’ve used many dog walkers and pet care companies and never have I experienced such a level of professionalism. Our walker, Charles, is great with Iggy and takes extra care everyday on their walks after we made it known that he tends to run away if he gets out of his harness. The pupdates and photos of Iggy are the highlight of our days when we are at work. The administrative team is also really great, they handle all inquiries in a timely manner and the payment system is easy leaving no uncertainty. We are extremely satisfied with this service and would recommend to anyone in need of pet care. It is really hard to find this level of quality for very reasonable prices and a team of honest people who really love and care about the animals.

My dog Leroy has show huge strides in his reactivity towards other dogs from working with Maren and the team at Big City Woof! In addition to their one on one sessions, Maren has met with us multiple times during the process to make sure the plan fit our needs/expectations and help train us to be a better companion on our walks with Leroy. We've also had a great experience with using Big City Woof's Regular walking service in lieu of Daycare. The walks provide great socialization and exercise for Leroy and are a great alternative to him going to daycare. The team provides clear updates each time as well as some fun pictures from their walks to look at while I'm at the office! Highly recommend this amazing company!
