Bigg Chill is great, plain and simple. The frozen yogurt is always on point, flavors are solid, and the toppings never miss. It’s cash only, which is a slight annoyance — but honestly, who cares. It’s worth it every time. The vibe is relaxed, the staff is friendly, and it’s one of those places you end up staying longer than planned. A classic for a reason. Always hits.

The Big Chill is hands down the best frozen yogurt spot around! The flavors are always fresh and creamy, and the toppings bar has everything you could ever want — from fresh fruit to chocolate chips. The staff is super friendly and the vibe is fun and nostalgic. Just a heads-up: it’s cash only, so come prepared!

I was helping my daughters move apts and we met up with a few of their friends for dinner. Afterwards we went to the Big Chill for dessert. It was my first time and I was blown away. I had the chocolate and vanilla custard with chocolate chip cookie dough, rainbow sprinkles, and m&ms. The quality and flavors were outstanding. Cool spot with awesome dessert. I will stop by every time I am in LA. Great job Big Chill.

This feedback is shared with love in hopes that things return to their former glory. I love The Bigg Chill's frozen custard and order frequently anytime it's available over the last couple of years. The most recent three times I have ordered custard on 8/9, 8/29, 9/1 the quality has been subpar and noticeably weird. On 8/9 the vanilla custard was super icy rather than creamy and the consistency was off. On 8/29 the chocolate custard wasn't mixed properly... the chocolate wasn't dissolved and it has tiny bumps of chocolate throughout the entire substance (see photo) and the flavor was slightly off, kind of a sour milk taste. Super strange. I decided I'd try again a few days later on 9/1 hoping it would be a new batch and the flavor is completely off and significantly worse, although the bumps were gone - it tastes like they used very dark chocolate and like they may have forgotten the sugar entirely, it's quite bitter. All this to say, I hope you can use these dates and figure out who messed up and what can be fixed to return to the incredible quality you typically have. A small size is expensive and I always order several, so to have them not taste right is super disappointing. I am hesitant to order again given my last 3 experiences have ended up in the trash.
