I love this place! I don't know why I let more than a year go w/o re-visiting. The guy manning the desk was super-helpful and friendly. I found 4 books that I'm really happy about, and I plan to return soon!

Excellent book selection. Bought two new and another I've wanted a physical copy of after hearing the audiobook. One purchase was from a mystery book section. Each are wrapped with a cryptic yet thoughtful recommendation provided by the shop owner. And I love the book!

I am glad to support a great brick & mortar, small book store operation such as “The Book House-St Louis USA”. The second hand book that I ordered online from them was just as described! Thank you so much for your honesty and the speedy service to Canada. And let me say this, if you are a Star Wars fan, you need this book. It is going to be reviewed on my Youtube channel; @edgarslifejourneyvlog along with many other collectibles from different hobbies. The book’s title is From Star Wars to Indiana Jones: The best of the Lucas Film Archives published by Chronicles Books LLC in 1995. I won’t hesitate to be a return customer and I highly recommend this place. The gratifying experience and feeling of reading a physical book as you turn the pages with your fingers will never be matched by reading a digital copy. Unfortunately I see the younger generations immersed in their technological bubbles distancing themselves from this form of art on paper, and I can only hope that in the next 200 years, books will not be solely seen in museums as a legacy of something that should have never been abandoned or forgotten.

Charming, warm, and filled to the brim with treasures. Ill be going back when I've got more time to slowly look through the two floors and the piles of books. Great local bookstore find!
