I would put Burrell Collection on the top 10 things to do in Glassgow. We had a free tour with Alistair- passion, enthusiasm & knowledge made the collection come alive. I cannot wait to return and learn and see more of this impressive collection

Had a wonderful time at the museum and joined an informative, engaging guided tour. The guide was very passionate and shared fascinating history about the building, the owners of the artifacts, and interesting stories behind several exhibits and paintings. I really enjoyed the experience. Since it was Christmas time, there was a live orchestral performance during lunchtime, which added a special touch and was clearly enjoyed by many visitors.

The museum is well-designed and maintained with a hint of interactivity for kids. The staff is friendly and has some fun worksheets for kids.

Wonderful family outing. It is free to enter but you need to pay for parking which there was plenty of. There is a wide diversity of items in the collection. From antiquities of Egypt, Greece and China to artists such as Rodin, Degas and Cezzane. There are interactive videos for young ones. Plenty of space on the grounds for a picnic or there is a restaurant available inside. Large play area by the parking for little ones as well.
