Came here on a Tuesday with family and friends for dinner around 5. We did a walk-in as a party of 6. We had to wait about 10 minutes before a table was ready. The waiting area only had a handful of seats, and was right next to the bathroom. The smell of the bathroom, which isn't a clean smell, drifted into the waiting area. When we were seated, we all received menus and the waitress gave us a quick moment before coming back to ask about drinks and going over the specials for the day. We ended up ordering a a few appetizers and sides: Roasted Brussel Sprouts, Crispy Calamari, Duck Fat Wedge Fries, and Truffle Parmesan Fries. The Brussel Sprouts were the best out of all the appetizers. For my family with the mail dises, we got a Porterhouse and the Torfio River Salmon to share between the three of us. I asked for medium rare for the Porterhouse, which was cooked right, and tasted great. The Salmon was good well, and the sides it came with were good too. The service was not that attentive. The waitress staff was dressed in short Santa outfits for the holiday. We had to flag down the waitresses when we needed water or extra plate and silverware. The atmosphere is not loud so we were able to have a conversations at the table. The dining area felt a bit dark, making me question a couple of things. Not sure where they source their ingredients, but prices are high. There is parking available all around the restaurant. I wouldn't come back.

Visited The Butcher Shop with high expectations, and while there were definite highlights, the experience was a bit mixed. The standout dish was absolutely the beef carpaccio—an incredible flavor profile, beautifully balanced, and easily the best part of the meal. It showed real care and culinary intention. On the downside, my drink was very ice-heavy, which diluted it more than I would have liked. Service was also inconsistent; our waitress seemed distracted at times, which affected the overall flow of the experience. The prime rib tips were disappointing—overly salty and mostly end pieces, which felt less intentional and more like leftovers than a curated dish. Additionally, the accompanying butters lacked salt, which was surprising given how well-seasoned other elements of the menu can be. There’s clear potential here, and the kitchen shows flashes of excellence, but some execution and service details need tightening to match the price point and reputation.

I ate here based on a recommendation from a person who used to live here. When I arrived I was skeptical based on the dated exterior but once inside its a different story. Very clean and food that was prepared to perfection. Thank you for a wonderful meal!!!

Celebrated my birthday at The Butcher Shop and it was so good! We really enjoyed the food, everything was cooked perfectly. The atmosphere was cozy, the staff were friendly, and sharing the night with good company made it extra special. I felt so grateful for the love, laughter, and all the birthday wishes, definitely a memorable celebration!

We went because of the great reviews to celebrate a birthday but were disappointed. The host was very scattered and confused. We had a reservation on Open Table and he didn’t check our name and we had designated a special birthday. It took us awhile to get seated and he was just going back and forth and just seemed very befuddled. Our waitress must have had too many tables because service was extremely slow. We had to ask for water 3 times before we got it. The food itself was very good. The steaks were good and two of us got fish. We also ordered dessert which was good. The steaks were a little too done compared to what was asked, but the fish was very tasty. We started with the parmesean bread and that was very good. The food is good but the experience overall was not exceptional. The waitress uniform was very skimpy for a steak house while the male waitors wore long shirts and long pants it seemed demeaning to the female staff. The boys should have to wear short shorts if the girls have to.
