I started my journey here in August after attending a “Pack the Camp” Saturday with a friend, and I haven’t looked back since! From the moment I walked in, I loved the atmosphere. Everyone was so welcoming and kind, and the immediate relief of not having to plan my own workouts was exactly what I needed. Why This Isn't Your "Typical Gym": What makes The Camp Miramar special is the diversity. It’s a beautiful mix of people from all walks of life, ethnicities, and body types, all united by the same goal: living a healthier life. The support system here is unmatched: • The Owners: Shia and Tanya are incredibly supportive, kind, and genuinely helpful. • The Team: All of the coaches and staff are amazing and constantly encouraging you to push your limits. Real Results: I recently completed my first 6-week challenge, and the results were incredible. By following the meal plan and staying consistent with the workouts, I lost 15 pounds! More importantly, I feel amazing—both physically and mentally. More Than Just a Workout: The best part of The Camp isn't just the weight loss; it’s the family I’ve gained. The Transformation Camp has been a major part of my fitness journey since 2019. I joined out of curiosity after seeing my family friend, Elaine post about her workouts, and I started out with the 21 day challenge. I was instantly hooked and signed up for the 6 week challenge. I thought I could sign up for 20 lb. weight loss challenge, but was recommended to go for the 5% body fat loss. I admit, I was nervous about this challenge because I never lifted weights and was mostly did a lot of cardio, like Zumba. It was tough at first, but I was determined to lose the 5%. I adjusted my schedule, doing the homework (lifting weights) at L.A. fitness at 4:00 a.m. and then headed over to the camp for the 5:00 a.m. class. I stuck to the meal plan, drank all my water EVERY day and really gave it my all. Halfway thru, I was discouraged because I had only lost 1.7% percent body fat, but after making adjustments to my meal plan and workouts with the help from owners ,Shea and Tanya, I kept going and trusted the process. At the end, I pushed thru and hit exactly 5%! Beyond the results, I found an amazing supportive fitness community, or should I say fitness family! Everyone's energy is contagious and it truly keeps you coming back for more. If you're thinking about it, just do it! Ask me for a 5 day pass. You won't regret trying this place. Besides, what do you have to lose? Maybe a couple of pounds and maybe gain some confidence back. I know I did!
I absolutely love Camp Transformation Center Miramar! From the very first day, I felt welcomed and supported by both the coaches and the community. The workouts are challenging but fun, and the trainers really know how to push you while still keeping it safe and motivating. What makes this place special is the atmosphere – everyone is encouraging, and you never feel judged, no matter your fitness level. They have so many great coaches like Crystal, Juan, David, Christianne, and so many others that always bring the best energy and keep us motivated through every workout. The classes are tough but fun, and they make sure you push yourself while still feeling supported. It honestly feels more like a family than just a gym. Everyone cheers each other on, and the vibe is always positive. I’ve seen real progress, not just physically but also in confidence and discipline. If you’re looking for a place where you’ll get results and feel part of a team, this is it!
Look at all that CAMP swag!!!! This place is by far my favorite place to workout. I have joined 100's of gyms and this one is absolutely the BEST! I recommend everyone give it a try at least once. I am a returning member using the amazing Come Back Deal they offered. I moved a bit further away and saw myself needing to sign up for a 42 day challenge, (which I am currently killing at.) I am so glad to be back!
