The new catering company, Common Plea, has been wonderful to work with. We had a great 330 person fundraiser here and Common Plea was helpful from start to finish and executed a great event with us. Very responsive and willing to work with the budget and needs we had. Would highly recommend!
We had our 12.16.23 wedding at the Circuit Center and had an awesome experience. The room looked absolutely beautiful and was able to comfortably accommodate close to 300 guests. The food was a hit and the servers were awesome. Would definitely recommend for a wedding or large event!
I would highly recommend the Circuit Center and Ballroom by The Fluted Mushroom to any couple looking for an exceptional venue with exceptional food! The location is conveniently located in the Southside Works area of Pittsburgh with ample (free) parking and several hotels and restaurants in walking distance. The venue is spacious and was set up exactly how we envisioned it. The space is modern and incredibly clean. The FOOD was amazing, passed and stationary hors d'oeuvre were delicious and plentiful during cocktail hour and the plated dinners were beyond exceptional. Everything was served at the appropriate temperature as well as the attention spent on the specialty meals (vegan, vegetarian, gluten free) for the guests. The attention to detail on the Pittsburgh Cookie Table was incredible. There were several out-of-town guests who had not experienced a Pittsburgh Cookie Table before and Angela Eremick , the event planner, knocked it out of the park! Attention was spent on all the details and made our daughter's Christmas wedding magical!
I absolutely love the Circuit Center Ballroom! I am a wedding photographer in the Pittsburgh area, and just photographed a beautiful wedding here a few months ago. I can't believe I had never been here before! The space is huge, clean, versatile, and is easily convertible for small or big weddings. And I can't forget to mention the food... which was absolutely phenomenal! Honestly, one of the best wedding meals I've ever had. I loved working at this venue and with their team as well - they were all organized and helpful! A few things to note: (1) the getting ready space for the bride is relatively small. My bride opted to get ready at a nearby hotel, which was perfect! We were able to walk from the getting ready space to the Circuit Center Ballroom. (2) Parking was a bit hard to find. There is a lot across from the venue that guests and vendors are able to park in, but I didn't realize I was allowed to use it until after talking to the coordinator prior to the wedding day. Other vendors didn't realize they were allowed to use their lot (which was marked as a "private" parking lot), and parked blocks away from the ballroom. So know that if you're someone attending or working a wedding there, you can park in the lot across the street marked as private!
First time visitor to this venue as I attended a wedding reception. Overall I felt the space was nice, clean and new. The ballroom had ample space (approx. 200 guests). Table arranged with enough space to move around yet close enough to engage in conversation with others at adjacent tables. After exploring the ballroom on my own, I noticed there was a raised staged and some additional ballroom space. As such I image this space could easily hold a reception with 500 guests no problem. There were 2 bars open during the reception. These bars were built into the ballroom with each station having a garage door to open or close the bar when necessary. Only downside would be the space outside the ballroom if being used for a pre reception. The space was small and was L shaped. However there was an outdoor patio space which could also he used but the cold weather limited the use for guests. The other negative would be parking. It was not clearly marked where parking for the Circuit Center was located. Thankfully we followed others and parked in an open and free lot across the side street from the center.
