sometimes the music is hit and miss but today I’ve enjoyed it thoroughly, lots of R.E.M, And She Was (talking heads), and The Killing Moon (echo and the bunnymen). absolute treat, shame about the Oasis

Went for the first time today and I want to come back and do it regularly, lots of fun and the staff are super nice.

I'd never climbed before this year, but I was invited along to Tong's Hangar Womxn Rock group by some friends; never before have I exercised so regularly AND enjoyed it. Tong is a great coach, kind, patient and funny, and the group and hangar staff in general have been so welcoming (especially appreciated as a trans person). The walls are good fun to climb, there's clear difficulty levels marked on posters, and there's plentiful gym equipment for warmups. Plus they have a café if you fancy a sweet snack after climbing!

Just here to shout for Tong✨ I joined Hangar Women Rock around this time last year and it’s honestly been amazing. Tong is such a fun and supportive coach. Her warm ups are always creative and make climbing feel ten times more fun than going alone. She’s taught me loads of useful tips like how to smear properly on the wall and that’s made me fall in love with climbing even more. And don’t miss the coffee art in the café she makes, it’s the cutest!

I've been going to Women Rock at The Hangar since January 2024 and Tong has helped my climbing throughout, from doing my first blue at my first time at Women Rock, to helping me with a yellow literally yesterday. Not only has she helped with my climbing but has also created a super nice community where I've made a ton of new friends 🫶
