Totally Professional Service from Beginning to End. I was first impressed by Alexis the Arborist specialist. She was very knowledgeable and did not push any product or service on me. She just gave me her assessment of my trees and suggested ideas. Then on the day of service I had four expert workers. First Jesus was here to spray and feed my trees. He was very good and took his time to inject around all my trees. Excellent attitude. The tree trimming crew - Christopher, Alberto and Jesus were total professionals. Very safe and we’re willing to check with me throughout the entire trimming and Pruning process. They worked as a team. They really care about the job and how the trees would look after they finish. They were cleaning up all the leaves and limbs keeping a safe working area. They moved the bucket truck several times to reach the right places in the tree being extra careful not to damage any limbs. We have used Roy and his crews for over 20 years. The reason you hire a professional Arborist is for their ability to look into the future and understand how to shape and care for your trees today so that they are healthy and looks great in the future. They have successfully maintained six redwood trees, one large live oak, Japanese maple, white birch, and fruit trees. Hiring someone who drives by in their pick up truck will be less expensive but in the long run, your trees will not be healthy Nor they be safe. Like so many other things you get what you pay for. My wife and I are very happy with all of the services we have received from Davies Tree Service

We recently hired Davey Tree of San Jose to plant twenty five, 25 gallon Italian Cypress trees above our pool. This was a huge planting project and we couldn’t be happier! Alexis Johnson, our Davey arborist, was great. She met with us twice before our project started and stopped by several times during the week to support her team members Juan and Sergio who were planting the trees. Juan and Sergio were absolutely fantastic! They were extremely respectful of our property and our newly purchased trees. They both had a wonderful attitude and genuinely wanted to do the best job possible. There wasn’t anything they wouldn’t do. They truly wanted us to be satisfied and to love the end result. Thank you to Davey’s team for transforming our back yard into a beautiful, serene and private outdoor space. We would definitely hire Davey tree again for any future planting projects.

When caring for large trees it really helps to have reliable arborists and tree pruning crews to provide quality annual maintenance. Over the past 25 years, I’ve had Davey Tree carefully prune trees, remove trees and stump grind. Recently, with the guidance of Grace, an arborist with Davey, her skilled tree crew, Filipe, Sebastian and Fermin, completed careful pruning of my favorite Coastal Live Oak. Grace listened and understood how I wanted it thinned, shaped, canopy lifted and surrounding floral beds protected from falling debris. On the scheduled day/time, Filipe, Sebastian and Fermin skillfully scaled through the oak carefully cutting limbs, minimizing impact on the surrounding garden and quickly transferred debris for removal. The trimmers showed expertise by periodically surveying the tree to ensure the correct limbs were selected for removal. Upon completion, the crew did an excellent cleanup of my property and adjoining city sidewalk/street of debris and sawdust from the trimmings. I could not be more pleased with how my large oak tree looks and is now prepared for winter storms. All very professional and smooth. Thank you, Grace, Filipe, Sebastian and Fermin!

Our large palm tree needed it annual trimming especially to eliminate its seeds. We also had a Japanese Maple that succumbed to a disease they are prone to. Salvador, Adam, and Sergio did the usual great and quick job. They let us know when they arrived, confirmed what they would be doing, and after trimming the palm tree they invited me to come look at it to make sure we were satisfied. Davey Tree is now our go to for anything needed for the trees we have. Their crews are friendly and professional.
