We love our new vet. The staff is extremely kind and friendly. The vets are very thorough and explain things clearly. They truly care about animals! Not the cheapest place, probably, but sometimes you get what you pay for and we are very happy with the care our animals receive here!
This is my third vet since moving to Louisville. I guess the saying "third time's a charm" is true. Dr. Pinkston and the staff are pleasant and show genuine concern with my senior labradoodle, Nestlé! Pricing is reasonably fair. 😊❤️🐾
My mini golden Corabell was recently treated after a three day bout of nausea with diarrhea. Not pleasant plus very concerning for both of us. Dr Garrity and her staff took the time to really listen to me. After a thorough examination Corabell was treated and sent home. I appreciate the clear instructions. Dr Garrity is knowledgeable and very kind. The office is spotless and the prices were fair. It gives me peace knowing that as problems arise in the future this vet and her staff will be there to help us.
The price was very reasonable: the 4DX test cost about $72, while at other hospitals it would usually be over $100. The physical exam fee was $50. They support Chewy prescriptions. Dr.Pinkstone is a really excellent doctor. My dog is very afraid of the hospital, but Dr. Pinkstone called in several staff members and carefully comforted her. At the same time, they will create a file that takes into account the dog’s personality and preferences. They also ask us to fill out a form with many details about what the pet likes or dislikes, which will be included in the record. It’s also not a crowded place. I didn't wait for a long time.
We are travelers on Assignment. I contacted several vets before deciding to visit Downtown Animal Hospital.We have two energetic anti social Morkies (1 Yea old Piper & Paisley). The staff ( technician and assistant) knew how to handle our puppies with loving care. Dr. Garrity was kind, gentle and and warming. She was open and very helpful. Beside the professional care of our pets she was personable. Some vets always try to upsell thier services and get you to buy additional supplies, medication or treatment. She DID NOT do such a thing. We actually saved more money coming to see Dr. Garrity. The day after our puppies visit Dr. Garrity called to check on them. Now this is great and valuable customer service that shouldn't go unnoticed. I HIGHLY recommend going to THE DOWNTOWN ANIMAL HOSPITAL. Sincerely, Piper & Paisley
