It’s our first time to go fishing in the ocean, the trip is great and crew are all very nice and professional, the equipments on the boat is very good. I appreciate Skip(captain) to give me many suggestions to have a safe and convenient trip! Totally I will have a charter from them again in the future.

I booked The Duchess Yacht Charter on 12/21/2025 for a very personal and emotional purpose—scattering the ashes of a close friend. The crew handled everything with exceptional care and professionalism. They offered drinks and appetizers, which made the atmosphere comfortable for everyone attending, but what truly stood out was their sensitivity to the situation. They gave us space when we needed it, guided us gently through the process, and made sure the entire experience felt peaceful and respectful. I’m deeply grateful for their thoughtful service on such an important day. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a charter company that combines professionalism with genuine compassion.

Awesome Afternoon with the Duchess and Crew Half Day Trip (PM) on November 28, 2025 • 4 adults • 2 children I have been on dozens of fishing charters and this one has been without a doubt one of the best. We had 4 adults and two teens with various experience on the water and fishing. First the Crew is top notch, local, super friendly and hard working with a smile. I communicated that our goal was to have fun and catch fish (not necessarily going after yellow fin, etc), and boy did we catch a lot of rock fish. My son caught 36 in about 2.5 hours. Second the boat is great and super comfortable. We were going out in late November.. while we had perfect weather, if we hadn’t… the inside is spacious to warm up or avoid rain.. etc. The cost may be a few $100 more than other charters out of Marina Del Rey, but in my opinion well worth it. Thanks again crew for making memories and be the highlight of our TG weekend. The Kadlec Family

We booked The Duchess out of Marina Del Rey for 2 hours for our family of 6 to scatter ashes of our loved ones. From the booking experience until the end of the excursion, everything was excellent. Communication was great, booking easy and directions perfect. Yacht was clean, looked new, was easy to board and comfortable for all of us with both inside and outside seating. I did not speak to the Captain too much because he was obviously busy but crew Brandon provided us with just the right amount of attentiveness, offering beverages and letting us know when the snacks were available. Excellent charcuterie board which he refilled throughout the cruise. Brandon prepared the ashes for scattering in a simple basket and gave us time prior to lowering the basket over the side with the Captain ringing the bell afterwards signifying End of Watch. We are actually thinking of hiring The Duchess each year to commemorate our family member’s birthday.

If I could give them 10 stars, I would! We love the Duchess! This is our second fishing trip with them in 2 years. We love going on the Duchess so that everyone can fish and then those that don't fish, can hang out in the inside on the couches or on the bow and relax. They have have bathroom and bedrooms. Service is amazing. They are so helpful, friendly and knowledgeable on the boat. They will filet your fish to send with you. On this trip we had 56 keepers! It was our son's birthday and they picked up the cake for me and had it on the boat. You will not be disappointed going out with them!
