Its a great place for breakfast! I order full scottish brealfast which I can experience all three kind of scottish dish here, which are haggis, blacknpudding and Cumberland sausage! The staffs are really nice and warm. They provided two type of entries which are reservation and walk-in in separated room. I'm with reserved, no waiting time here at all and easy to book with 5 pound which they deduct with tge food price at check out.

Had to wait 20 ish minutes or so and were given a table, the service here was one of the best in Edinburgh so far, we had a delightful time. I had the eggs benedict which was lovely! Ambience is great, but the service really was impeccable with lovely staff who seemed truly invested in making our experience a good time and asking our plans for the day and other questions. I returned a few hours later looking to buy a drink to use the bathroom and they recognized me and refused to let me pay and allowed me to use the bathroom!! Super lovely. Definitely recommend coming here for a good breakfast spot. Thanks so much ❤️.

One of the best breakfasts we’ve had in Scotland. Superb artisan coffee and a menu that celebrates local farmers. It’s cozy, authentic, and located perfectly near the Cathedral. To top it off, the staff are incredibly friendly and made our family feel right at home.

I would have walked straight past if it hadn't have been for my daughter taking me inside. Best thing she's ever done! I was surprised at the variety on offer and decided to order a Scottish dish as it was my first time in Edinburgh. How amazed was I when this beautiful plate of food came up that looked too good to eat! So delicately arranged and with beautiful flavors I sat and savoured every bite. I can't speak highly enough of this place. The care and passion for food and such genuinely friendly staff, I would make it my first port of call, no matter if I was to be alone or a large family gathering which one was going on and they were looked after. Well done guys, you absolutely blew me away 🌲

This place is definitely worth visiting for the atmosphere, especially given its location near the main tourist area. It’s on the Edinburgh 'Top List' (and maybe went a bit viral), so be prepared that the prices are a bit higher than average. The food was good—not amazing or super special, but tasty enough. The serving style is quite unique: everything comes in boxes because the kitchen is located in a separate part of the building. Overall, a cool experience if you don't mind paying a little extra.
