This was my first time seeing a show at the FILLMORE and I am impressed. It looks so cool with the chandeliers in the floor area. I really liked all the posters and art inside too. One cool thing no other venue I have been to does that they do is they hand out posters of the show you just saw for free on the way out. I didn't drive there so I can't comment on parking. Bus stop right down the block and they run 24 hours on FILLMORE Street. I definitely want to return for another concert.
Well she did it again! Samantha Fish swam into the Fillmore on Wednesday night and lit the place up. Her high-energy brand of the blues is the perfect fit in the perfect venue. The talented guitarist ran through the stellar selections off her new record "Paper Doll". I was especially enamored with her slide guitar playing.
One of the best venues I’ve ever been too! The history in this place is like no other. Also the manger of this place went above and beyond to help me with an issue I had with a giveaway. He stop what he was doing to help me.
Easy transportation: near the 22 and Japantown parking garage Quick bag check and metal detector scan for security. Wristbands if you want drinks Spacious venue—love the chandelier lighting. Great sound system Clean bathrooms! Never had a line for the women’s room EXPENSIVE drinks
I live without a cellphone. On Sunday Sept. 7th, 2025 I went to the box office at 10:00AM. The ticket agent was extraordinarily helpful. “We do not print tickets,” they said. “How may I purchase a ticket and get into the show?” I asked. ‘We have to text the order confirmation to someone. Are you going to the show with other people?’ “Yes, but I don’t want to bother them yet. If you text the order confirmation to my girlfriend, will I be able to get in without her phone?” ‘Yes. I’m going to write down the order number for you. When you come here, we can text your order to our phone and get you in that way.’ “Oh joy, rapture! One ticket for death Angel on Friday, December 19, please.” “$39.95 please.” “What? No way. Really? They are 70 bucks online.” (Smiling) “I’m usually here during the shows. But if I am not, and the ticket agent is reluctant to get you in this way, just push back a bit.” That was my customer service experience with the Fillmore. I have never seen a whack show at this location. I do not drink alcohol or smoke reefer anymore – the bartenders are awesome and are quick to serve me Athletic Non-IPA. We generally park two blocks south, 50 feet from the Starbucks. Keep your ticket with you as the parking garage will be locked after a certain hour and you will need your parking ticket to access. We typically leave the parking ticket in the vehicle when we go to shows elsewhere, but a bunch of us made the mistake of leaving it in the vehicle and then we had to wait three or four minutes after the Social D concert for another person to roll up. And if you’ve not been to this location, make sure you make it upstairs for the poster room. Thank you, Bill Graham. Thank you, Sunday AM ticket agent, whose name, according to Gemini “…is a feminine name of Italian and Hebrew origin, formed by combining the names Anna (meaning "grace" or "favor") and Lisa (a short form of Elisabeth, meaning "God is my oath"). The name embodies meanings related to grace, favor, and devotion to God, reflecting a modern trend of blending traditional names to create unique identities.”
